QUOTE(Negative @ Jan 19, 2007 - 6:32 PM)

The back of my cruise control button sometimes pops out and the switch won't work. I pop it back into place and all is good. IDK what's up with that but it's really hard to tell that it has done it. Check the back to see if yours is doing the same.

it was ... i'm shocked that it was such an easy fix, thanks for the help!

so i was driving on the parkway and when i was done using the cruse control i clicked it off by pressing the button in and the light stayed on. the cruse control wasn't stuck on, but if i pressed resume it would keep going. the light stayed on until the car was turned off and now it won't go back on. any suggestions?

Just a heads up as i got a letter today, apparently the 1997-1999 celica has a problem with oil gel and toyota will pay for any repairs (old or new) relating to it. you can check out www.oilgelsettlement.com for more info about it. sorry if this is a repost i didn't see anything when i did a search.

so i went to use my car today after it had been sitting for about 2 weeks. it's been pretty moist out and it wouldn't go without me giving it some gas. should i throw some dry gas in there to get out any moisture or is it fine just to run it for a bit (which i did)?

Armorall- Anything! I love the wipes for the dash and all interior plastics. Looks and smells great.

Post 'em up guys

I hate armorall on vinal. It makes it too shiny so it's hard to drive b/c of glare and it deffinately attracts dust somehow. Instead I use Vinylex and it's awesome.

also if you ever want to take the bra off the paint will have faded differently, won't look so good even though it will have less damage

I just went out to my car and discovered that only the driver's side window would go down. The passanger and two rear windows wouldn't move, and I didn't hear the motor going or anything. This has never happened before, any ideas as to what is wrong?

sure will! no difference with all the celica models from 94-99 although if you have a gt-4 or japanese (ss-i/ii/iii) their maybe a slight difference. -R

Hi, i'm new to the 6gc forums and i have a question about a aftermarket exhaust. I've already installed an injen ram air intake and i'm looking for a cat-back. However, i'd rather not have to do any welding. Is there anything of a bolt on for a 99 gt? I found the greddy makes a model which is supposed to be bolt-on but it says that it only fits 1994-1997 celica's. Would this be compatable with the 99?
Thanks for any help.
