I have an opportunity to get a turbo kit off of a 5th gen 5sfe for cheap. I was wondering if the ecu from it would work on my 95? If not what ecu should I get?

I only want 4 psi max for some more fun, and of course that turbo noise.

What size hub centric ring do you have to use to center the brake rotors on the stock hubs? I'm using brz rotors and I tried doing the measurements myself but the first set I ordered didn't fit.

I was in your situation. I had to until someone parted out their car to get mine, otherwise your only option is to buy them off of a seller on eBay who lives in Bulgaria

Look on eBay and buy expensive for performance, and cheap if you just want to get lower.

I went with Megan racing street coilovers, which is considered mid-grade,
and they're amazing. 32 levels of dampening and fully adjustable. I got mine set up perfectly where it's stiff for the street but still kind of soft for bumps. It drives like a go kart though. Almost no body roll at all.

Do the gt four front brake calipers and Supra front calipers share the same rebuild kits?

My '94 ST (AT200) has also been extremely reliable and I have been driving it for fifteen years.

Has anyone of the high mile GC6 had to replace fuel pump - if so at what miles? One of the few components that can leave you stranded suddenly!

Mine has about 350-400k if Im guessing correctly (I was a victim of odometer rolled back) and Im believe I'm still on the OEM fuel pump. The screws to access it are clean like they've never been touched

I have the Megan racing street coilovers and my Celica feels like a go kart now. Almost no body roll and feels amazing around the corners.

Although if I could do it again, I'd get a set with adjustable rear camber. I'm lowered maybe 2 inches and my camber is at -3 degrees. It's great for corners but my tires will definitely wear uneven

Don't cheap out on coilovers though

The 4th gen requires custom wiring as far as I know, where can I have the wiring done for my Celica?

You have to use a bracket and a bolt. The material is too brittle for self tapping. Imagine a П with a nut welded to it. You drill a hole enough to get it through, then slide it on the underside of the spoiler.
I would not use any other method.

That's how it is OEM, even the material is kinda marked up for this process, and easier to brake up where the bigger hole is.

Just did this and the wing is really solid now. Thanks !

Keep the cats, don't put on a header, and as far as the muffler goes something baffled opposed to straight through will have less rasp.

The cat is part of the stock header right? So i could replace everything after the header?

Basically which exhausts sound the least raspy? The flex pipe on my stock exhaust broke causing a small exhaust leak, and I honestly like how it sounds now (not raspy, but deep and a little loud) but it's putting fumes through the a/c and rattling off my skid plate so its time to upgrade!

Is there a proper way to mount these to the stock wing? I used self tapping screws and they have come loose after driving a few hundred miles. It's starting to damage the mounting holes as well

I have driven my celica offroad many, many times. I've hit potholes deep enough to bottom out and bend rims, ran over a boulder sized rock, hill hopped, hit deer, and take it to its limits in the backroads daily. Yet nothing, and i mean NOTHING has broken on this car. Dont get me wrong, there are a few dents here and there and it could use some body work, but a simple alignment after a rough offroad drive and she still keeps going like she always has been. I don't think I'll ever find another vehicle with 400k miles that can take a beating like this one has. It is truly amazing.

That is all. Thank you for reading, and thank you Toyota. This is a beautiful and wonderful vehicle inside and out.

Hit a deer today and luckily only damaged the headlights. So I figured I may as well upgrade.

I will take just the projectors if that's all you have but the whole set would be great

not stock wiring, but it could be set up properly to work with the cigarette lighter. Those connections look like they would fit

Autozone doesn't have any alternators in stock for a 5sfe celica, but they do for a 5sfe camry. Would the one from a camry work for my celica?

I believe my car was equipped with an alarm from the factory because it has the "Toyota Security" thing under the dash, but i don't know what the previous owner did with it. What are some things i should check before trying to get a new key fob programmed for my car?

ok if your lines are rusted and weaping, then you need to fix it. -6 is overkill IMO, and you dont need a Supra fuel pump if you are swapping in a 3S-GTE. NOW, if you are going to build the #S and make stupid HP then -6 will support that. Im just trying to save you money and prevent you from spending money on stuff you dont need.

when I designed a return fuel system for the 7th gen, I bought a 6 foot piece of 3/16 brake line, I used AN tube ends -4 and i used a flair kit to flair the ends for the AN fittings. this was good for the return line, the stock feed line was good enough for 550HP.

In my Supra I ran a 1/2 aluminum hard line under the car and did the same thing for my feed line. I think i used -8 at the tank then split it in the rail and fed each side with -6. I used the stock feed line as my return.

So I have to flare the ends of the original fuel line to use an fittings on them?

so you want to spend 5X the money for braided lines? you will need about 6 feet of -4 and -3 lines, then a -4 banjo fitting to fit the bottom of the fuel filter.

what is wrong with your OEM hard lines? are they rusted with holes? if it aint broke, dont fix it

Yes the hard lines are rusted bad and fuel is weeping out. I figured a thicker line, maybe -6, would be good to support a Supra fuel pump, because I plan to swap a 3sgte.

What about the fittings to the fuel pump? I'm looking at a diagram and it looks like theres compression fittings?

I want to replace my fuel lines with stainless braided lines instead of going through the work of bending new, hard lines. To my understanding, i just need to have the correct fittings, so what fittings would i need to use for my 95 GT?

It should be the same process as a 3sgte swap

You could always boost it afterwards if you want more power, so I'd say it's worth it

should be the CIG&RAD one under the dash.

That was exactly it, thank you!
