QUOTE(IllIllIll @ Jan 4, 2007 - 10:13 PM) I was just in Okinawa for 2 years. I'm AirForce too. I had a Toyota Sera, that I put a turbo motor in when I was over there. I also swapped it from auto to manual. There is already a car 'club' on Okinawa it's called Zeroyon. Hook up with those guys, they do weekend drives up north sometimes, as well as fun night time activities. ![]() I've scoured around the zeroyon website for a good while now. Hell, i usually get a lot of updated news from that site. I've also been to both of the junkyards before. I bought a used rear wiper assembly for the supra i used to have. The only thing that sucks is that there isn't much of a selection of stuff for the celica here. I have only found a handful of stuff at Up Garage for the celi. Oh well, i don't have much time left here so i guess i'll try and upgrade the car a little more before i leave. |

Nah, they don't brighten when i stop. I had that problem with my supra, but, with my celica, i don't know, it's weird. I mean they will completely shut off and then come right back on. I was talking to a friend of mine about it and he suggested a loose ground. Also that maybe the headlight and brake light circuit ground are possibly on the same spot and that maybe the headlight ground is loose and not making good contact. I don't know, i'm not much of an electricaly savvy person, but, i'm working on it. I have a basic theory of how electricity works, hell, i spent 6 months in technical school for the military learning about that crap. Anywho, just thought i'd drop what i found out from my buddy. |

Hey all. Just thought i would throw this one out to everyone to see if maybe someone else has had this problem and can possibly give me a solution. The other night i noticed that when i come to a stop and press the brake pedal, my headlights will literally go out and then come right back on ![]() |

Well, looks like i won't be able to get to junkyards and parts stores for the next few days. We have a typhoon coming our way and i am having to work a lot to get my workcenter cleaned up for it. So, hopefully, the first of next week i can get to the yards and stores and scope them out. |

I'll get a few more shots of the car up after i get off of work. Not all of the stock cars come with body kits. Most of them come without them. Plus, after i get off of work, i'm gonna hit up one of the local used car parts places and check out some rims. Good thing is that i can pick up a set of used 17's for about 500. That's also including tires too. That is also with decent tread on them too. I'll take some pics of the rims that i like and see what you guys think about them. |

I am starting out kinda small for mods since the higher ups on the island seem to be cracking down on anything modified. Especially lowering a car. But, for now, i am looking at an intake, and a catback exhaust. Definately some new rims, the stock ones are ugly. Don't know exactly how much i will get done, i've got less than a year and a half left on island, so, we will see and i will keep everyone updated with pictures of what i get done. |

I agree with you myself. I like the 3 spoke wheel without the airbag. I had one on the supra i had before the celica and its just more fitting to the car IMO. |

Thanks. I like the fact that it came with a bodykit on it already. Plus, being over here in japan, finding a celica with a m/t is kinda hard to come by. So much traffic over here that they mostly have autotragics in their cars. But, i lucked out in finding this one. |
