i was actually looking and had the same question. my manual 98 celica GT has been leaking oil for about 6 months now and its only drips here and there once i turn the engine off kindasad.gif . i had talked to the mechanic about it and he said it was most likely a head casket cap issue. i had new seals put on about 6 months ago. does anyone know how to replace that? is there a tutorial for it anywhere? how much would it cost to do it myself vs. the shop?

answers to any of those questions would be great help

this may sound like a stupid question but when i took the plugs from the amp the tweeter/dome speekers dont work now. does the amp that i disconnected and redirected to the head unit power those speekers? do you have the tweeter/dome speekers in your car? are they working after you swapped the head units?

well i was at class today and was on a break so i decided to work on my car til the next class. i ended up finding a way to get power to the sterio, i disconnected the amp thats under the head unit and using the two cables that connected to the new adaptor that i bought at walmart that has the plugs of this website http://www.crutchfield.com/S-ErgBDET0bOs/c...amp;i=120701761. its a temperary fix but it seems to work.

what confused me was that when the wires come out of the amp they make one plug that didnt fit any connector that i have seen at all. (kinda gay if you ask me) but the plugs going into the amp are the ones that were compatible so now i have a usless amp until i find a new cable system. any ideas anyone? if you have pix of how you did it (got the amp included and wired so it fits, please post b/c they will be of much use.

thanks, bryan

when i get home from class today il post a pic of what the single cable looks like (the wires that are comming out of the amp to the factorys head unit

hey guys i ended up buying one of the "scosche" harness from walmart today and got it all hooked up and plugged the one end into my sony and when i went to plug the male end into the female end of the factory plug it didnt fit. the plugs are still the wrong size. the one that i used was the TA021, which when i double checked the internet information to the booklet in walmart it said it would fit.... but it doesnt. mad.gif kindasad.gif
Shrine do you remember by chance which walmart plug you used?
