I've lost the button on my dashboard that is used to turn the air conditioning. The round one which you can adjust the AC with. I had an infant in the car and he took it out and lost it somewhere. Any idea where I can buy this button? Right now Im using pliers just to turn the AC. I don't have the knob anymore. HEELP! |

QUOTE(iatmarketing @ May 3, 2007 - 7:32 PM) I own a 1994 Toyota Celica ST Liftback Automatic Transmission. My engine is dead at this point. One of the valves failed on me. I am thinking of swapping the engine. The shop I know can install an engine for me for around $300-500. I am considering a A JDM 4AGE SILVER TOP 20 VALVE 1990-1996 COROLLA ENGINE and/or A JDM 4AGZE Supercharged Engine Are these conversions difficult? On top of buying the engine and just dropping it in, are there other necessary modifications? I am a college student and this cant cost me much. The shop agreed to do it for $300-500. I can buy the engine, but will I have to modify other things once the engine is dropped in? Does this engine fit in perfectly into a 94 ST? Also the supercharged engine thats for sale comes with a 5 Speed FWD. Would that be difficult to mount to the automatic transmission i have now? I don't want to convert to manual. You guys here seem very knowledgable. I would really appreciate a response... Thanks! Also, what is the easiest swap? I am not really looking for power... I just want to replace my current engine with something that works (currently my valve is f-ed up) What engine would fit perfectly into the the 94 automatic ST and cause no trouble to the mechanic? |

Can I use the 4agze engine with my stock automatic transmission? Or do I have to change to another automatic transmission? Is the installation complicated? Would an engine like this fit? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-4AGZE-S...sspagenameZWDVW |

Hello, I am a proud 1994 Toyota Celica owner. Recently I repainted the car black (with blue pearl). I know next to nothing about cars. Never had the time to learn, never was too interested. I drive a 2001 Honda Civic and this 1994 Celica has been sitting in the garage for a while. Although it's a great car! Currently the car has a bad engine (from not changing oil when I first got it). The engine must be replaced. What would you suggest to replace this engine with? I am looking for something better than I currently have (possibly a celica gt engine?). I want the entire swap to be under $2500 and NOT screw anything else up in the car. Keep in mind the car is AUTOMATIC. I am also looking to improve the speed of this 'new engine' without putting in a turbo or changing the transmission to manual . What do you suggest I buy? 1. Cold Air Intake? 2. ? 3. ? 4. ? Please advise! I would be really glad if you guys can help! |
