as brians friend and such, i helped a lot on that car, and i would've never imagined it would look like that.

Its amazing how close you were brian...

Not so much a fan of the kit, but all one color and such, blingin'

So how do you like the car? I drove it a few times, always enjoyed it. What are your plans for it?

Please tell me you're going to keep the exhaust with the turn-down tip!

when you rebuild a motor you should rebuild...

but no you shouldn't "burst" accel or decel..

advice on breaking in a new motor is best found from your ENGINE BUILDER NOT on this site

but not going past 3k rpm and not boosting as much as possible....basic ways to just take it super easy on the engine i would image smile.gif

funny that I've never read that before.
People say this say that, but we call them desktop engineers.
Ive known plenty of people that "break it in like you're going to drive it" with excellent results. Can you go forward with your explanation on WHY you think this way?
Is this motor completely stock? There is no cam break-in, a solid shot of boost will no-doubt seat those rings really well.

So tell me, where is your information coming from? Because i think you're a qualified desktop engineer sir, congratulations.
So please show me the documented evidence that mostly stock motors need any sort of break-in procedures.

lol poor results from traction problems?

SRT4 guys pwn you in torque and seam [dip****, its seem] to do it pretty well too....
just have to learn how to launch and drive...and for god sakes get some drag radials at least....
i'm not saying that traction isn't a problem at all...but its not as big as you try and make it out to be...

huh? The "claimed" srt-4 1/4mile time is 13.50 with slicks, ive never personally seen a stock srt-4 break a 13 without slicks on their cars. all fwd cars have traction issues. If you see none of those fast cars at the track are fwd, cause they blow asshole. Traction issues are issues in any car that makes over like 150hp (thats not your car)

So when is your celica gonna stop looking like the turd i rolled out of my ass last night?
And when is it actually going to be fast?
kthx

if you arent close to me and are interested shoot me a PM i know a great car shipping place and might even meet you/deliver the car if it is within 150 miles or so.

in all seriousness if thats a word, this car is a blast to drive. It is kinda... silly quick. You dont really expect it, and it hits and it really is a lot of fun.

So at least come and test drive it, even at 8psi it will put a smile on your face.

And im sure we can all arrange personal delivery along the east coast, all i want is gas money:)

dude, you have put so much work and time into this car. why!!

Finally brian has realized that fwd vehicles are not able to have the word performance used in the same sentence.

Buy a 3 series
And it does pain me to see this car sold after I helped so much in getting it working.
