I have a 3" full stainless steel Kakimoto cat back exhaust. This is a JDM imported piece for an unknown vehicle so you know it is quality materials and workmanship, not chinese ebay crap. There is a small dent in the canister but it wont be visable once installed on the car, the tip has no dents or scraps and will polish up real nicely, the resonator is 3" as well and made of stainless steel just like the piping. Its not specific to a Celica persay but at half the cost of what a new one would be its a pretty good deal. Majestic Muffler can retrofit the exhaust to bolt onto your car for cheap, just tell them I sent you...ususally materials such as this costs more than the labour itself, the resonator and canister alone are $150 ea not including the price of 3" stainless steel piping. Ask around and do your reasearch if you dont belive me but Im guessing you already have and thats why your looking for a used one on the forums. Im in Toronto, North York and you can come and pick it up anytime. Im asking $225 for the system.

-JDM engine from ST185 35K - less than 5K since rebuild ie. new oil pump, water pump, timing belt, tensioner, idler pulley, full engine gasket kit incl. HG, rubber hoses from hell and turbo gaskets. sold
-JDM E153 tranny from a 95 MR2-Turbo 45K, torsen type LSD, tranny converted to work in a FWD application, comes with ST185 brackets and mounts, ST185 shifter cables and hybrid MR2/ST185 CV axles, custom speedo sensor, slave clutch and pressure plate. sold
-OEM MR2 Turbo clutch kit sold
-3" custom SS exhaust from the down pipe back, high flow Reactive muffler gauranteed to not sound like a fart can, sounds really nice actually deep and throaty. $300
-Supra TT fuel pump $100

If you have an offer send me a PM, note that lowballers will be ignored.
Car is located in Toronto, owner lives in Edmonton, local pick-up of parts only, cash is king.
I did the full engine rebuild as well as the install on this car. It has maybe 4K on it since then - about 3 years ago.
Owner spared no expense, only quality OEM Toyota parts used, meticulous with his car, always kept clean, never abused.
All the work performed on it was by myself. You are not buying parts from an amature with no installation experience, hacking or learning as I go along.
Never driven due to owner living out of province. Raced once and made a 13.1 sec pass at 10PSI on 94 gas.
I know this car inside and out and this motor/turbo is one of those freaks of nature from the factory.

Car will be in my possesion for dismantling after May 5th, come May 9th the stripped out chassis is being hauled off to the wreckers. If you know anyone that would be interested in the car as-is before dismantling - it is available as well but must be serious and must be willing to take it by May 5th, have them contact me ASAP. Car in question is a 91' Celica GTS hatch with a gen2 3sgte and MR2 tranny swap, custom exhaust and bodykit, ST185 hood.

I know this is a long shot that someone would have one of these on this side of the Atlantic but....

I need a air induction box (the thing that most of you replace for an open air element)
It must be from a ST202 SSIII with the GEN3 3SGE. This is a JAP/EURO model only.
The NA model with the 7A and 5S do not share the same intake box.
I need everything from the TB forward - dont need the silencer box located behind the wheel liner. If you know of a importer that has a front clip or someone who bought a front clip and has no use for the induction box Im willing to pay $100 shipped for one!

but i can't find a st205 side tranny mount, so does a gt mount work as well?

I have a st185. I think it will work but ask around

It wont its generation specific.

As for the passenger axle use the one phattyduck recommended, you use the MR2 carrier so you dont need a whole axle unless you are getting one from a re-man in which case it will be complete but you seperate it at the 6 bolts. I sent you an email with a link of a guy selling the tranny mount.

Ron its Danny. Again Im not sure if the crossmember has bushings or not but if Doc says they dont then I would take his word for it.

As for the mounts again they are ST205 mounts and brackets, remoeved from a St205 Gen3 3SGTE motor - I also have the engine mount and trans bracket from the gen3 motor as well.

The front mount is normal to sit low on the bolt like that about 99% of them all do unless they are using solid crossmember bushings and solid motor mounts.

FYI the front/rear motor mount bushing inserts sold by SpeedSource are specific to the st165-st185 and will not fit a st20x front mount. The front mount on a St20x is narrower than its predececors.

As for the rear mount the SpeedSource insert will work in your application ie. st20x

How well is the mount secured to the crossmember in the rear?

Again Im not sure if you are using the proper the mounts and brackets for the engine and tranny or not but judging by the angle of your engine I would assume that something is not right in your choice of parts - if you need the ST205 ones I have them as well.

As for the axle I have an axle removed from a 1MZ manual equipped Camry, if Eggman could elaborate wether the year is of importance that would be helpful. I have compaired it with ST185 axles I have and the Camry one is longer however the spline count is more compaired to the ST185 one so Im not sure if ST20x hubs use a greater number of splines compaired to there older brothers.

Thanks to everyone who showed interested, should have jumped on it while you had the chance. Please delete or close.

Ok I've recieved several PM's asking what would be needed to complete the conversion if someone purchased this motor....

The short answer - NOTHING, as far as parts are concerned I have everything that you would need to start the motor. No need to source any missing parts, most peripherials you use from your exisiting engine, you dont need to upgrade your fuel or exhaust for this motor to work in your car.

Now as far as labour is concerned all depends on your mechanical and electrical capabilites. Physically the motor bolts right into frame rails so long as the engine prior to the swap is of s-series designation - if you have to ask what designation your engine is you obviously need alot more homewrok or are knowwhere capable of doing this on your own.

The two single most difficult aspects of this swap would be having your existing collector modified to work with the header and splicing and extending the wiring harness. Both of those can be easily sourced out - any compatant exhaust shop can modify your existing collector to mate to the header and Dr.Tweak can modify the harness so that it'll plug and play into your application.

This swap will cost a 1/4 to 1/3 of what going FI would cost you in the end, trust me I know.

I dont want to hijack this tread but im auto and im canadian. I wanted to swap a 3sgte and do a manual conversion but now im not sure at all because of all the headaches for the tranny swap....

do you guys think that engine would be a good investment (performance/money wise) and also what other parts would I need to install this into my car (im already auto btw)

this is if you finally decide to sell the engine wink.gif

Turned out my motor just sprung a leak from a busted oil feed line...easy repair, got it back on the road after a days work.

Engines back up for sale, send me a PM or reply here with any questions

I got a shipping company that will ship anywhere in north america, US residents depending on where you live expect to pay $350-$500, Canadian residents significantly less.

Motors no longer for sale - temporaily on hold until I decide what Im going to do about my car. The motor in my car just took a dump and I need to decide what Im going to do about it. So I may end up using this one to replace it. So until my car is sorted out all engines I have or had for sale are no longer available until further notice.

Any 5-speed tranny that came attached to an s-series motor ie. 5sfe, 3sfe, 3sge even a 3sgte can be converter to FWD. Also any manual tranny that came from the MR2 or Camry.

so this harness is already conervrted for a celica....Meaning it will fit a 95 celica gt with the 2ng gen 3sgte motor swap for sure?

no it is not converted to fit in anything except what it came from IE. JDM ST185 right hand side drive. Its a stock wiring harness that needs to be extended to work in your application.
