Thanks Kurt, I was talking about the other badges. I need to sell them to a good home.
The GT badge was reference to the other thread which it was talked about in. It ended up
selling for $392.36 USD when I relisted it. It was NOS with all the original packaging, box,
screws and everything.

I believe theres another thread here in which the final auction was being watched and discused.
It shocked EVERYONE even me. So I hope you all understand my dilemma about trying to
figure out what these may or may not be worth. Any insight would help or if you could reference
this topic to anyone who owns these cars also
My Aunt in law has a 70's Corona but not the year these go to.
Still tho I dont wanna list these in a classifieds with out at least a rough idea
Like I said I can't find these at all on ebay to see what they are or worth and I don't need them.
Just like them to go where they'll be appreciated and hopefully add to my own parts hunting fund

I need help Identifying some rare early 70's USDM NOS Toyota badges.
I'm trying to figure out if they are for Celicas or indeed what I was told they where
May be JDM I dont know.

I bought these from an ex Toyota Dealership Mechanic who worked at a Toyota
dealership in Texas. He had these stashed away in a box in his closet for 20 or
30 years he said till I met him and bought them.
The same man who sold me a NOS Celica GT Dragon grille emblem a few
years ago which was talked about elsewher in this forum and I was proud to have =)

Reason I'm asking is I'm looking to sell these now after holding on to them for a
few years and don't know for sure what car they're for or how much they're
roughly worth or let alone where to list this at.
You guys helped me out last time and was vary knowledgable about your Toyota stuff
I don't want to over charge anyone since I really don't know anything about these
and information is non existent on most forums and nothing can be found on Ebay to compare.

Below is a list of links to pics of the badges / emblems along with the part
numbers on the original TEQ boxes.
A well advised idea of worth or a refence to someone who may know would be helpful.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

IT COSTED ME MORE THAN RETAIL TO AQUIRE IT, Retail being late 1970's prices.
And the people bidding on it and asking about it were littarally scatterd from arond the world.
To name a few, EUROPE, AUSTRAILIA, HONG KONG, TOKYO, even VANUATU!
Just the amount of people watching the auction numbered 35 alone and even right after the end it's still at 23 waiting for it to start again.tomorrow.

I found a pic of a really tight CEL on another forum and this is how the badge CORRECTLY looks on his grille,




FYI the measurements on mine or 4 by 5 inches at widest points ~more like in an X pattern~ and a half inch thick, so it would be cool to see where it looks best though on newgen CELS.




I Decided though that im still putting the GT BADGE on the auction block tonight or tomorrow night (11/16/06 - 11/17/06) at 8:57pm (CALIFORNIA PACIFIC STANDERED TIME) even though I know i should keep it ^_^

FOR A CHANCE TO FIND ONE but they're a long shot for import stuff as they are always mostly about american and european makes. I do good to find anything for DATSUN 240Z's.

I only found 4 classifieds in parts for TOYO's ~mostly FJ40 LANDCRUSIER stuff~ and 18 classifieds in cars for sale.
They do have a '71 COROLLA COUPE in that line up though

Please don't get me wrong but i jus called partznet at 1-800-220-3788 after looking at your last post and to see if i can confirm what you said.
They told me that the new part number 75321-14051 does look the same as the old part number 75321-19126 but they didint have it in stock in any warehouse in the country.

I was trying to get a couple more for myself but the dude insisted that he could'nt order for me what he didn't have although he would love to sell it to me.

Is it possible thyat the dude told you they looked the same without actually ~CONFIRMING~ if they had it or not before placing an order ? ~Z~

Got off the phone with a cat named RON at 1sttoyotaparts.com, in my birth state of WASHINGTON, asking for a badge number for a '71 through '77 Celica GT and out the blocks he said, "WOW?!?", liked his jaw dropped.
Then told me you cant' get thyat any more. So after looking it up he confirmed both part numbers were MIA.

So then he said there was one dealership and reffered me to 1-800-692-6396 ~A CAT NAMED BOB IN ONE OF MY OTHERE HOME STATES OF INDIANA ^_^~. He told me he placed a couple of orders for some dude then found out after lookin again for me, thyat his supplier wasn't able to get it at all either.
After lookin up both part numbers he again confirmed to me they were MIA. Once again he wasn't able to tell me when tha badge was discontinued either.

As far as he figured tha only folk with thyat kind of info would be tha TOYO record books in JAPAN ~Z~

I GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH THE FOLKS AT PARTZNET AND FOUND THA SAME THING.
I EVEN RECIEVED THIS REPLY FROM THE CATS,

THEY TELL ME IT'S BEEN DISCOED FOR AWHILE AND THERES NO WAY THEY CAN GET HOLD OF IT AS TOYO NO LONGER MAKES ARE SUPPLIES IT. IT WAS ORIGINALY RETAILED AT AROUND 28 OR SO BUCKS ~IN WHAT YEAR?~ AND WAS MADE FOR THE 1970 THROUGH 1977 MODEL YEAR CELICA GT. HOWEVER THE PART NUMBER WAS SUPERCEDED BY THA 14051 VERSION MAYBE SOMEWHERE WITHIN THOSE YEARS. THIS MAY OF HAPPENED WHEN THE ORANGE VERSION CAME AFTER THE BLUE ONE DID ~I WAS TOLD BY A FRIEND THERE WAS ANOTHER BLUE ONE OUT THERE~.

THIS COULD MEAN THYAT THE -14051 WAS THE ORANGE NUMBER BUT WAS STILL USING BOXES FROM THA -19126 ~BLUE VERSION~ UNTILL THEY RAN OUT THEN STARTED USING BOXES WITH THE NEW ORANGE NUMBER ~-14051~.
JUS SPECULATION THOUGH ON MY BEHALF AS THE PARTZNET GUYS WERE'NT EVEN ABLE TO TELL ME WHEN THE BADGE WAS DISCONTINUED. ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE THYANKFUL THOUGH AS I'M STILL AT LEAST TRYING TO GET SOME MORE HISTORY ON IT FOR FUTURE ENTHUSIEST. ~Z~
