QUOTE(DatDudeJoey @ Jan 26, 2008 - 8:48 PM) u should get this dude its universal peep link :] http://www.raceinspired.com/p-3166-apexi-n...-115mm-tip.aspx $425 for a muffler!?!?! no thanks. Mufflers can be any inlet or outlet, the exhaust shop can adapt a "connecting pipe" to connect the muffler to your exhaust, or just adapt the exhaust piping itself to fit and weld it. |

QUOTE(SeverX13 @ Jan 28, 2008 - 9:24 PM) Hey guys ive searched the forums and i can find exactly what i need. Im lookin into upgradeing to a full exhaust system. I dont know what i want tho. I know that i want an aggressive low tone but i want it to be very loud. Can anyone help me out also... does anyone know the deicibal limit for PA? well there's an entire post for exhaust set-ups, I don't know where specifically on here though. If you want loud just go either 2.25" or 2.5" piping and get a large muffler. not to define any stereotypes but any muffler canister with a 3" outlet or so is gonna be obnoxious. straight pipes are pretty loud. cherry bomb. glass packs. but for better exhaust sound, I'd go magnaflow, maybe A'PEXi N1. |

so you get a bunch of used stuff for X-mas? I can understand the lambo hinges cuz those are expensive but I mean a muffler and springs aren't expensive. Most springs are $200 or so. splurge and get new. |

I would put all the money into bringing over a RHD Celica Gt-Four. Why put all the money into a car that isn't the real deal when you can buy the real deal for less, and have a perfect car. ![]() if not a Gt-Four, I would build a replica or either buy an SS-III |

lol just because cars have them doesn't mean they're legal. There's a lot of people that ignore the law entirely. Like people with dark window tint. The darkest tint allowed in Indiana is 20%, but I know a few people who have darker, I'm having my tint done next weekend, and I'm getting 15%. It's just personal choice. |

My car drips oil too, maybe like two table spoons a day or so, but I don't know what's causing it. I had the Oil pan gasket replaced, I've checked some other things, but I'm still not sure. It dripped a while onto my skid plate. Could the leak now just be the oil on the skid plate coming out? I'm curious. and is it safe to pop your hood and spray your engine and what not down with a hose? I have the sock airbox so the filter is covered..... someone message me and let me know. thanks! |

ok, so noob question but what's IIRC? this is probably in another category but I just wanted to know. Also, in Alvin and the Chipmunks, there's a modded MR2. I saw a Celica in a movie the other day but I don't remember what it was, once I think of it, I'll throw it on here. |

Brembo makes some different rotors, Powerslot makes solid, affordable rotors, I'm not sure but I think Rotora makes some. Just look into it. I'm sure your local Toyota dealer would LOVE to give you some new ones. lol |

AutoLoc makes a flamethrower kit, it's basically a controlled spark plug where you can hit the button anytime you want flame. I saw it on a MAzda RX-7 on YouTube, and no offense, but except for show, it looks retarded. |

QUOTE(BloodyStupidDavey @ Dec 10, 2007 - 9:08 PM) Received wisdom is that Toyota/Yamaha did a pretty good job with the ECUs in the Celica and it is actually quite difficult to get any benefit from remapping. Having said that, Superchips claims their Icon adds 8bhp (7%) to a ST, 10bhp (6%) to a GT and 35bhp (approx 17%) to a GT4. I'm thinking about buying a spare ECU for my Celica and having it sent in, just to see what it would even do for the Celi. I was on a site somewhere, one of the big name ecu tuners, and they claimed 12 hp on an ST |

hey, personal experience, I bought my motor off eBay, and it's really been nothing but problems since I bought it. I've had to have gaskets replaced, and idle work done, and all this other crap, and it's not worth it. I feel like I would have been better off rebuilding the original instead of purchasing this one. I bought a 7A-FE, and I think the companies are different, but I mean that's just my experience with motors from eBay. |

Ok, I don't follow your logic. I know you threw a couple of new parts in, and what not, but essentially it's the same car. Coomer sold it for $4000. You've had it for like, 6 months, and you're gonna jump the price to $6,500? I just don't quite get what would make the price jump $2,500 besides you wanting to make a profit off of someone else's work, no offense. |

QUOTE(SteveHall @ Dec 10, 2007 - 4:35 PM) I swear there was a celica in the background of a Top Gear challenge the other week when they did the race through London, it was either during a clip of James or Richard (Bike or car), can't remember which. I've seen a Celica thread about sightings in movies and commercials, and what not. May have been on here, but not sure. I've seen a couple of them. |

So I want to be original with my interior. I like a lot of seats, and I like the 7gen seats, but a lot of people have those already. Soo I found others I like. Well I like the Mitsubishi Evo seats (Recaros) but I would rather not drop $1,500 per seat from my local dealer. So I found I like the Acura RSX seats....sporty, but I can get leather if I want it. So would it be possible to have like a machine shop make a custom bracket that would hold these seats? and how much would it cost to have done approx.? |

QUOTE(Gnaredge @ Nov 29, 2007 - 8:05 AM) Does anyone know where i can get these for a ST? or any advice starting to add mods to my st? Header - eBay, will need to be slightly lengthened but nothing major. Exhaust - have a local shop fabricate one with the muffler of your choice, 2.25" piping probably. Cold Air Intake - You will have to buy the parts and custom make your own. The only mass-produced units for our Celica is the Short Ram by Injen and Weapon-R.. |

The Alka Plus kits are essentially a sticker. They go on over your current dash pieces to give it a different look. If you don't believe me click on their site, and click on the installation instructions. It says to remove the adhesive backing and place the idividual "sticker" on the dash. |

Workers present... and i was singing some stupid song on the radio staring into space and i get pulled over. I need a good lawyer in Montgomery County. Someone help me! If I pay the ticket its gonna be 560ish.. damn I don't mean to brag, but I was doing the same speed over the limit you were...17 mph. But I was doing 52 in a 35. I got pulled over, and I skated by with "here's a warning, have a nice night sir!!" I think the reason you got the ticket was because workers were present. Otherwise I think you could have gotten away with it. |
