Well since I got rid of my 94 celica I don't need these Toyota repair manuals. I bought them when I bought the car in Jan. 07 and I think I used one of them once and that was it. As you can see one of the covers has a little paint splash on it but there is nothing wrong with it. Other then the paint on the cover these things are in mint condition. I am asking 40 plus shipping for them. ![]() |

Well for the 2nd straight year I got to go to the SCCA Runoffs at Heartland Park Topeka. For anyone that doesn't know what that is it is the national champiohships for the SCCA Club racing division. Club racing is amatuer racing on road courses. It is an honor to just qualify for the runoffs. My uncle races in GT2(#6 240Z). I also know quite a few of other people from the KC region. Anyways here they are. Enjoy: http://www.4113pittsburg.com/Pictures/BrianHarmer/index.htm P.S. I didn't get to watch every race and for a few races it was raining so I didn't bring the camera out for those. |

Well comming home from school today I heard a nasty noise so I turned down the radio and heard the sound of a bearing just slappin' away. I was about 5 miles from home when I heard it so I was afraid I wouldn't make it home. Luckily I made it home but barely as the car would not idle anymore. Oh and the car is my 94 celica st. I have known it has needed piston rings for a while and was actually planning on putting the 20V from my Mr2 in it this winter(this would keep cost down and give me more motivation to put in a 2zz in the Mr2). Looks like I wont be putting the 20V in the car now because doing that would be a week project and I need the Mr2 to drive. I am spending tonight putting the MR2 back together and hoping I have fixed everything I screwed up when I hit the curb. I am going to be buying a junkyard 7afe so if anyone has any suggestions on where to get one I would be thankful. |

I have given a little thought to sleepers in my time as I think they are the best form of car out there and I want to own a couple of them. My top couple on the list right now are a cressida wagon with a 1uzfe swapped into it or a previa van(haven't figured out what motor or mods I would do to it yet but it could make a hell of a sleeper). |

I would get the XRS. It is a lot faster then people think(I am not saying it is a speedster but it is under appreiated). My buddy has an 05 XRS with an injen CAI on it and he has beaten quite a few cars including my 86 MR2 with a silvertop 20V 4age swapped into it and he beat it by about 4 or 5 car lengths. He also beat a TC with i/h/e by 2.5 cars. He did lose to a brand new 2 door civic Si with i/h/e but he only lost by 2 cars which I don't think is that bad considering the civic Si 2 door has more horsepower and is lighter. My buddy also just dynoed his XRS and with 94% humidty he came out with 159hp and 111 ft/lbs. True it isn't a speedster and a lot of people don't like 4 doors but to me I think it is a great sleeper because no one expects that out of a corolla. |

QUOTE(Celica_94 @ Jul 13, 2007 - 8:23 AM) Think big carbon fiber wing. Due to the aerodynamics of the MR2, if the top of the wing is level with the roof, it plants the car to ground. (Assuming you want a track car, or highway runner) Well sorry but I Am not going to get me a ricer wing. As for the aerodynamics I don't really need anything to put the car in a wind tunnel. This is an autox car and yes I would like to put it on a PDX every now and then but even then it isn't like I will be going fast enough for a wing to makes things any better or worse. I have already gone ahead and drilled the holes for the stock spoiler. |

Im still waiting for an MR2 to fall into my hands. Im not even looking for a turbo version. Just a Nonturbo 5sp with NO power.. Yeah I don't like them without spoilers and so I have already drilled the holes for the spoiler. |

Found this on ebay last week and since it is a rare item and it was pretty cheap I went ahead and bought it. Got it from UPS today. I did a comparison of the stock trunk lid and this carbon fiber one. It is 5 lbs lighter. I haven't decided if I am going to drill the holes to put the stock spoiler back on it or not yet. What do you guys think? ![]() ![]() |

QUOTE(Coomer @ Jul 7, 2007 - 2:41 PM) That looks sweet. ![]() If you can't get your uncle to cover/make a timing belt cover, there's always the Tom's carbon fiber cover, but it's rare and expensive. ![]() Yeah those are way too much to spend for just a timing cover. Hell those things cost more then I spent on my carbon fiber trunk lid. I am pretty positive that he can make one for me anyways I just need to get a new timing cover because mine is broken in a few places from the previous owner not caring. |

My wife and I had our week 19 sonogram today and got everything checked out on the baby. It is 13 ounces and moves around a lot. very hyper and stubborn just likes its father. We also found out the sex today and it is going to be a boy!! It didnt matter what we were going to have as long as it is healthy. However, it does put a little sigh of relief that I dont have to go down the barbie section just yet. |
