Its not an turbocharged engine its a 2 litre 16V I heard that people in The Netherlands equipped their Rs2000 with the the 2.3 16V motor and with the original rs2000 2 litre valves and camshafts. You get a lot more torque and hp So next is this or an paintjob. I am gonna wait with the Superchip (Chiptuning brand) which adds 10hp and 20Nm on the stock rs2000 engine So with the 2.3 engine 200hp is possible hehe

lol a 5th gen costs the same as this car. And I think the 5th gen really blows Here In my country the celica 6th gen is as expensive as an BMW 318. (just to give you an idea)

Ow btw... the rimms are from a RS Cosworth They did cost a Lot but it makes the car very slick Maybe some kyb shocks and a eibach spring later

It has a Mongoose exhaust pipe and a K&N 2 air filtre. The car has a really cool engine sound. Very broooaarr and not the ricy wreem wreeeem sound:) If you know what I mean. Maybe chiptune the engine so I have 180hp and 220Nm

Do you know what the engine code is? If it's a 2.0 liter engine, than it must be a 3S engine, the slowest of which(3S-FE) puts down 138 horsepower and 138 lb. ft. of torque

Ok, plz don't flame me but I am thinking about buying a Honda Prelude. The price of an used 6th gen Celica and an Prelude is almost the same in my country. I like the Celica a lot but I also like the Prelude especially because its an 2.3 Prelude here in Europe and the only Celica here is 1.8 GTI or 2.0 .

I am confused..... what to do? Buy an Celica or an Prelude?
