Ive added some 18'' wheels to my car and a week later,when I drive it like I have to give the car a lot of gas to get it moving.I thought that it was the wheels being too big.I have to get my car revd up to like 3-4 rpms just to get it to move.my friend said that its not the wheels its my clutch going bad,put I feel that I didnt have this problem until I put the wheels on. |

just got my car from the shop,drop a thousand in new parts,im at 190,000miles and this thing is still a quick ride,feels faster than my wifes car and she has a dodge charger |

thats one thing that kinda worries me just a little after reading all the info on this site i am pretty sure that i can do all the major mechanical stuff its just the plumbing that i cant seem to get a clear visual on.maybe if there were more pics of what runs from were to were it would be more clear i think i have it all down i just want to be sure so that once i start there arent any road blocks |

ok thats great cause i want to be able to keep this car forever cause here in maryland every one drives hondas and acuras and when they see my car its always the same thing.They say that people only buy celicas cause they look fast,i like the celica cause its rare to see a 6GC,and i have a coupe. |

Yeah after doing a lot of research on this site I know Im going to need some sort of cpu for tuning but i will have to do some more tattoos toget up the money for one,right now i will keep collecting all the other stuff. |

I cant wait until I can get all the parts together so that I can build up my turbo-celica.This kid i met on mr2oc .net has been helping me out a lot he said that he has a Greddy emanage with full harness and tool for 250,but im not sure if i am going to need it cause idk anything about tuning so im going to leave that up to speed shop guys |

ok i will do that.so have any of you guys that have completed your 5sfTe projects been satisfied with the end results.I was originaly going for the 3s motor swap but thats a lot of money and i dont want any super crazy power any ways just a littile more kick to fly past all these celicas and integras were i live. |

ok the kid that i got the turbo from told me he has rx7 fuel injectors but he said that they are 440cc injectors and they fit perfect on the celica s.70 dollars for em is a realy good deal buy i dont want to buy em and its the wrong ones |

 just got the oil pan from 20incher ,at mr2oc.com for only 50$ so that makes oil pan ct26turbo ,manifold and d-pipe ,and 2 bar map sensor oh and turbo oil line all for about 447 dollar and yes that incudes shipping.  |

looks like MR2oc .com is the place for finding some good hard to find parts.My very first post and i got like 3 replies the next day and now i will be getting my 2 bar map sensor in the mail shortly for only 75 dollars shipped.won a ct26 turbo on ebay thursday night ,so the 2 hard to find parts are done now for everything else. I must say if it was nt for posts like pressure2 and others i would be spending thousands of dollars at shop for a project that can be DIY.  |

After seeing so many people boosting up the 5s I am jumping in as well.I just started searching for parts, but i can not find a 2 bar map sensor.I am thinking of posting on the mr2 and alltrac site to see if can find one,but if any one out there knows were i can find one hit me up.  |

the question realy is a thought one but after seacrhing throught this site and the mr2 site and the alltrac owners site.our cars can benifit from either mod,the 3s swap or turbo'n the 5s.it all comes down to how much time and money you are going to put into the prject.i wanted to swap for the 3sgte, but after considering it all i just think that boostin the 5s is more sutable for me.if something goes wrong with a 3sgte motor part it is an imported motor witch means you would need to stock up on imported motor replacement parts |

thats a good idea i ve thought about just buying parts for the 3s swap and saving them until i get the motor,i wish i could find out were i can get a 5sfe wiring harness so that i can drive my car wile waiting for the wire work,i have a ford taurus too but i hait that car |

I am try n to get money saved up to do a GT 4 body conversion and get a 3sgte motor , but until then how can i get my 5s to perform better.I was thinking about putting on some headers,exhaust and upgrading the clutch and pressure plate,but will i be able to feel any difference when i drive it |

Hello all i have been reading through the fourums and have gathered some great imfo.I am going to go for the #sgte swap at the begining of next year and i am tring to buy the little stuff first. first the most important thing to me is getting the wiring done ,can i geta splice up wiring harness off the net somewere without sending my harness out.(my car is my D-DRIVER).hear are the things that i already have,gauges,new motor mounts,and exhaust,what other parts will i need for the swap besides intercooler and pipes. my car is a manual 5 speed 1994 gt . you can reach me at kzag3ntx@yahoo.com |

I recently got a aftermarket stering wheel from e bay ,i want to install it myself but do not know what hub adapter kit to use any one swap out there steering wheels ,i know im going to lose my cruise control,but i dont really care.my celica is a 94 gt if that helps |
