Anthrax is a disease , but in most circumstances that name is made in reference to the bacterium that causes it, much like anything else that has been shortened to make reading, writing and pronunciation easier on the hands, eyes , and mouth. The same would go for calling rim > wheel i believe , its has fewer letters and and can be less mistaken for other words like reel, real, will, whilst, well, especially if someone is newer to english. Give it some and Webster might an addition to their book. confused.gif

Calm down , dont hate anyone because they are just asking a question , some people would rather talk to an actual person than use the Search and get no personal touch. Shame me all you like but i can not stand when someone is mean and ignorant.

I think GT's are fast enough. It goes from 0 to speed limit in good time. Why Race? Our cars look nice so lets just strut them around. Dont ever decide to race me, because you will blow me off the line, and be disappointed in my lack of interest. GT's are a damn good cruiser .. 30+ miles to a gallon too !!

Manual is relatively easy to learn, depends on who's driving tho, some take days, some take minutes. All i have to say is its real fun, but if i had a choice i would go automatic .. that way i can eat, drink (tea) and drive.

I would modify a 5s instead of swapping in a 3s-gte if i ever wanted my car faster. Getting at least 300hp for our lightweight cars is more than enough to beat most anything on the road, its too bad i drive like grandma. Doing the 3s-gte swap .. just too much crap that can go wrong or worrying what might go wrong, whereas modding a 5s-fe is relatively less of a burden, and there's nothing wrong with a turboed fwd engine. The most powerful fwd engine i ever seen was boasting 1000hp.

one of the funnest things tho, is to modify a peice of s#it car that can whip most anything on the road, i added a tri- turbo to a 89 volkwagon with roof sawed off and nos and pushing 800hp , which owned anything that looked its way, the thing was ugly as sin, but ur proud when ur hands engineered a vehicle that can kick the @ss of those prefabricated, even mod speed demons. So if y'all modify ur celi's to race , keep it real.

6th gen celicas look better in my opinion, if they have a kit on, even if the supra has a body kit on the 6 still looks better, its my opinion, i have both and i know what my eyes tell me. I need to add side vents, which would finish mines off.

A GT can own it, i'm not much for speed in my celi, its just a damn nice cruiser, but have beaten a few zx2's, on the otherhand my 93 supra twin turbo hardtop can just beat about anything on the road .. took 911 turbo easy otherday... only thing that can stand a chance is a corvette/viper.. speed just gets boring. Its much funner to cruise in a celi, its a car with lovely curves .. add on a veilside , c-1, or zephyr... SWEETNESS !!

I never had any bad comments about my ride, unless y'all count remarks on a few scratches.
