They should start making them soon I think, no idea how much but will be better for the US now the pound is worth less against the dollar

I think they will only be this colour as they are solid stainless steel although sure you could spry them if you wanted to

I went to a UK company a couple of weeks ago & had this prototype grill fitted & was wondering what you all thought of it.

It does freshen up the front end in my opinion.

Just need to respray the front lip next spring to get rid off all the stone chips, I will be moving the blue strobes to under the engine at some point for a night display at shows

Over in the UK there is a virtual show & shine going at the moment & a VW is winning at the moment

There are 7 Celicas entered so far & we could do with a few more votes so if you have a few minutes free could you take a look at the link & cast a vote, I wont ask for you to vote for me but just for the car (possibly a Celica) you think is best.

Thanks.

Could you drop me a PM as well if possible to remind me as I am getting a little old now & the memory tends to come & go laugh.gif

They are one of the best mods you can get IMHO, I got a set & would never get rid of them. Cheaper than getting them posted to the UK

I ordered a Veilside Gen6 rear bumper from a company in the UK called Nemesis on Monday & was shocked that it arrived 36 hours later so thumbs up to them. The bumper is genuine & I got it for a bargain price.

Having now looked at the bumper I think I will need some sort of bracket to fix the bottom of the bumper to the underside of the car as the bumper is a lot deeper than the standard one.

Could anyone who has an aftermarket rear bumper post a pic of the bracket used to do this so I can work out what I will need to fabricate. Ideally a pic showing the area between the fuel tank & the bumper & any advice on fitting it.

Thanks.

Try pulling the fuses one by one in the car as well as in the engine bay & if blown replace it

I think there is a big fuse under the relay box but if that went you would get nothing at all

Anyone tried them yet?

http://www.pr.com/press-release/9815

I had some fitted last weekend at the last UK jap show of this year & found a slight improvement in acceleration as well as a bit better fuel economy which is important you us in the UK as our government really screws us for tax.

man..ive mounted tires on big rims b4...thouse must have been a b*tch to put on. What size tires are they??

also hows the ride quality?

nice 2 btw..lol

Tyres are 215/35R19 would have liked to put on 225's to fill the alloys out a bit more but was worried about them rubbing & would have thrown the speedo out more. Ride is better than I thought it would be, harder than the 17's I have but not teeth rattling

I have only done a few miles on them so far but time will tell

Car looks sick man. The only thing is the stickers. Not a huge fan but thats just my opinion. I love that TRD sticker. if that is a sticker?? Where did u get that from??

Stickers are Likwidart

QUOTE(SilverCell94 @ Aug 20, 2007 - 11:23 PM)

looks good, any rubbing in front or rear when the suspension compresses in a dip

I was worried about this but they seem OK, I can still get full lock without rubbing & where I live the roads are quite bad with pot holes so am being careful & trying not to fall into any of the big ones.

I think I would only have a problem if I hit one when turning sharply as they fit under the arches nicely

I think they look absolutely fantastic making the old fondmetal 17" ones I now have for winter use look quite dull in comparison

The ride is a lot better than I expected from them although I haven’t nose dived into any pot holes yet
