ah....take it manual conversion is out of the question for you? Well, the Del Sol is slow but easy as hell to do swaps on, and TARGA TOP!  Integras are the same....you could probably get a FC RX7 for under $5k (if you don't mind rotary). |

I would keep the Celica, but if you have to move on to something other than a Toyota get a 240SX or something. I would just do a swap though. You could do a 3sgte swap for $5k, so why buy another STOCK slow car for that $5k when you get still have something that looks hot as hell? Not to mention for someone your age, that's good experience tearing stuff apart. That's how I first learned about cars. (Wait, you said your 17 right?) |

Yeah, if you lived closer I'd look at it for free......but you don't. Whatever you do though, do NOT just put more refrigerant in. You'll slug up your compressor which = very bad and expensive. If anything, go to a local shop and have them evacuate the system, and recharge it. And if they're competent, they'll figure out anything else that might be wrong with it. |

My buddy has a 1st gen MR2, and the stock wing is heavy as hell. Get a GT wing or something, but don't use the stock one. Kind of defeat the point of losing weight. |
