my friend is junking his 91 capri xr2 turbo and is leting me have all the turbo parts off it> i have not seen the turbo number like i know a ct26 turbo can go on the celica but dont know bout this one> can sumone plz find how big the turbo is and if it can be used> i know i will have to get a custom manifold which is fine i just wanna know what i will need off the car like new computer or what. thanks

my 91 gts needs a map ans speed sensor if anyone a extra one they can sell me. i dont have 400 bucks for the parts at autozone and i have checked 6 junk yards in the missouri area n found all st models.. plz help! i have some money but not 400

so take the cap off or turn it or what? replace the whole thing? they cost alot to replace if its not that

is there a way to check the tps or distributor?

my motor dont have a plug on the intake manifold. that means its a newer 5sfe motor right? should i get parts for the 94 to 97 motor?

no cel comes on. im going to replace the tps and fuel filter now. if that is not it im out of ideas.

no i dont step on the gas at all. i start it and it will idle up and down till it stays at a high idle then i push the gas and the car loses power. the more gas i give it the more th rpms drop till i kill it.

I bought another celica. 4th one now btw and the person did a motor swap on it. its a 91 gts with a 5sfe motor in it and i have a plug on the harnest not pluged in and i think its the cold start injector that was on the gts motor. car will start but idle from 1000 upto 1600 and keep doing it. a while later the car will idle high so i hit the gas and the car will start to die. ive been told a tps or a map or IAC Which is 300 bucks i dont have. plz help and dont say junk the car.. it runs great b4 this happened

What would you offer me for the car?

I have the clutch kit and I would rather sell the car then fix it... I have had this car four or five years now and I have done all the work to it myself. It is sad for me to see i go but it is bad luck for me. It has been hit three times now.(parked all three times. If you guys know anyone that might want it let me know and I will post the pictures of the car the way it is now.

My release bearing makes alot of noise when I push it in also.

Yes, When I push in the clutch my car feels like I just hit the brake.(pushing me forward)

So here is the problem. I can't put my car in gear and I was told That it is my clutch master cylinder or my clutch bearing. I can put it in gear but it is hard,also the clutch bearing makes a spinning noise. How could I find out which one it is without taking apart my tranny?

How do I remove and install the master cylinder?

So I tried to gravity bleed it and its been about half an hour and the fluid level has not droped and there is no fluid coming out of the bleeder screw. Does this mean its my master?

The master cylinder I think is working. The fluid is going through it. The main problem is I bleed it and there will be pressure then I get no pressure if I keep bleeding. I have to keep bleeding cause I know all the air is not out of the line. I have not tried to gravity bleed it yet. Do i have to push the clutch in then gravity bleed. I have never had to do it before.

I get around 34 to 38 mpg. I put the tornado fuel saver on my sisters ford explorer with a digital read out on gas. It only gave the V8 4 mpg more but still something so I went ahead and put on my car, I also bought some magnets to put on my fuel line.. Dont know if they work cause my sister got rid of her explorer. I put them on anyway.

the cap on my master cylinder has a little vent cap looking thing. Is it supposed to move up down left and right?

I replaced that fuse first. Everything on the cluster works but the speedometer and the gauge light. oil light,gas light,check engine light,cruise control light, all work.

I am at a freinds house and his dad tells me i should only pump the clutch one time and hold it then bleed it. He says that me pumping the clutch might be moving air from one side of the line to the other. Is this true? Seems to me that one pump will not build any pressure.

My cluster does not work and my gauge lights dont work. I checked all the fuses and they are all good. Any suggestions?

There is a little air in the line. I must of bleeded it like 30 times and still air in the line. I dont think its the master.

Okay so my clutch is having the same problem as before. I replaced the slave and I bleeded the line and it worked for about 10 miles then again the same thing. did I not get all the air out ot what?

It was the slave cylinder.
