sorry guys someone made me an offer on the whole car and its gone. hate to see it leave, but for the mile i have on it and the cost to get it back to new, im better off buying a newer celica and starting over with less miles. either another 6gc or a MR2 im thinking

sorry guys, no headlights available, i will have to go out tommorow and take pics, i hate to part it out, dunno how much im gonna make off of it, its either put about 2k into it, or get 1k out of it and dump into a lift or some heads and stuff for my truck :'(

ummm, 94 Celica GT, 5 spd, 212k miles, RED, it has a Weapon R ram air intake on it, i put like 100 miles on the intake MAYBE, i remember the intake itself was 250ish when i bought it, it has one small dent in it, from when i closed the hood without it bolted down correctly.

Both fenders are toast, hood too, interior is fine, has reverse glow gauges right now, i can try to take it off, but if i remember its glued down. drivers side mirror has a small chunk taken out of it, passengers side is perfect, both are electric.


any questions, just ask. and since im not a verified seller, and if you are a trusted member of the forums, ill ship first before you pay, i wont do that for everyone tho

still have the hood and front bumper? the c-one preferably. i live about 3 hours away from you, so i could come get them instead of shipping

alright, so its been almost a year since i hit the deer that ruined my beautiful car and i finally got the money saved up to fix it again.

so the topic has the parts im looking for. everythign needs to be able to be shipped to 59826. the hood will come by freight i am sure.

i need projector headlights, all 4, i dont really feel like getting them broke up, i would like to buy them all at once from one person ya know.

i might need AC condensor as well

Oh, and a front bumper. aftermarket would be ideal, i had a Invader on there before i believe, liked the looks of it, C-one also looks pretty cool

so hit me up if you have any of this stuff laying around and feel like getting rid of it.

AND FENDERS! z3 is what i would like, stock would work too!

its what we did before, but this time its just a little bit worse, like we put a new core support on, and the big thick bar at the bottom. car is still driveable, just bent to **** up front, motor mounts are all ok, everything is alright, just bent like i said. i have a daily driver, but its a gas hog 72 chevy pickup, 6 mpg

well its perfect for me, because like i said i need the headlights, fenders, hood, front bumper, the core support, radiator, AC condener, all the tubes for the ac. it would cost me like 5k to buy all that **** seperate, and get the 3sgte on top of it

mrjdm i think, that seems to be the most complete one, and he has it set aside for me, talked to him yesterday about it. or i could look around more and find something else

yeah thats what i read. i have been doing research on this from the day i bought my car almost a year ago, i know all of my options, but now im just trying to piece them together, and like i was reading in another post, although i lost it, the LSD from the mr2 tranny will fit in the s54 if i do decide to go that route. this isnt something im doing tommorow, but i am gonna order the clip tonight i believe, and at least have it sitting here

i knopw thats now how "the swap" works. but like i was saying, i need the frame pieces from the front tire forward, only about 2 feet of it is wrecked. i live in montana, we dont really have any laws out here lol... unless you are lifting a truck. but yeah, swap out my 5sfe, get a new tranny, have the new front welded back on, and i will be good to go. and btw, i cant find a shell anywhere, and if i was to go buy another celica, i would have another 1k into it by then, then more money for the tranny, which i am def gonna buy, and the front clip with my headlights and hood and fenders and such. even as it is now, the money im putting into the car is more than it will ever be worth.

yeah im not really sure.... i think its kind of a one time help thing, they helped me before i hit the deer, but that wasnt very much into it, and it was my parts and mostly my labor, dad just helped pay for paint, but now the engine is weak, and a whole front clip is exactly what i need, although its a bit pricier than the previous fix was so yeah, i bent the wheel wells and stuff, so i am gonna have to have a body guy splice the gt4 front clip in i think from just ahead of the windshield.

ok so my parents are gonna loan me the money for the swap finally, or help me make payments on a credit card so i can do the swap and such. so im pretty excited. but the questiion i had was am i better off using the tranny i have in there now with 212k miles on it, and putting LSD in it, or going through the time and extra cash to buy the camry tranny with it built in?

btw its the s54 tranny, or whatever comes with the 5sfe

yeah check the installdr link a few posts up, i used it and it worked perfect.

i had it all setup how i wanted it, it was perfect, minus the 3sgte, but yeah, now im back to where i started, and out money that i put into, i only have like 1k left out of the insurance money, so i dont think i can get my hood and lights, prob just drive without a hood or something

nah, hood split right down the middle, and pulled apart between the 2 layers, so its all screwed up, i dont hink its even fixable, gonna have to order another one. so if anyone has set of projector lights, a Zyclone Hood, and and invader front bumper, and z3 fender set, msg me about pricing, as i need to buy all of these

they totalled it, gave me $2200 for it, now i just need to start ordering parts for it to get it back to how it was before.

haha yeah. 3sgte no matter what. ive got so many girls in my car, its so nice, girls love the car, even with just body improvements and a system in it, imagine after the 3s and an exhaust and stuff. only thing that really chaps me is its fwd thats why im looking at a 350z, have my sexy celi and the beast 350

yeah i have $500 deductible, so even if they dont total it im gonna have to pay that much just for them to put it back to how it was before,but i need to get 3sgte in soon. I was also thinking about trying to pick up a 350z or a 300ZX somtime this summer

yeah i guess so. just sucks so much. had this car perfect, had all the bugs tweaked out of it, had it to my liking, then a freaking deer ruins it. now im without a car for a while again i just cant believe my projectors were smashed, im so frustrated, I got out of the car and just started yelling "NOOOOOOOOO"

so on monday i was on my way to work, it was raining and slushy snow and all that fuss (i live in montana) and a deer popped out of the ditch and took out my projectors, my invader front bumper, passenger side fender, and my zyclone hood, cracked it right up the middle. The insurance adjuster is gonna come out by friday and take a look at it, but from what he said on the phone, its probably a total loss. So i think i will let them total it, and buy it back, and use the money from the loss to throw a 3sgte in it so maybe everything will work out alright

still looking for my cable for my camera! i think my dog ate it :-s stupid speedometer keeps going out though. Like it will work fine all day, then i stop and park it for a while and when i go back out it will work intermittently, like 0-20, then it sticks, and i smack the dash and it will go to 40, keep smacking the dash, and it will get up to speed. but i have to go do my drivers test over again tommorow and i have to have a working speedo (((


ps. i just forgot to get it renewed in time so i have to take the damn drivers test over again :<

hahahahahaha.... now thats funny. gas mileage on a celica is better than the 72 chevy i drove of my parents for 6 months while my celica was being worked on. i would get 6 mpg if i was easy on the throttle

oh man! im so excited, i got my car out of the shop yesterday, only my front bumper for invader body kit is on, but the rest is coming in the spring, and for now its just all red instead of the red/black combo im going to do, But that is another spring-time project

anyways, all i have been doing since yesterday is driving. i just go for random drives up through the twisties around here. i do need snow tires though, since the roads are slushy

but yeah, i am sooooo happy. I'm sure a lot of you will classify this as a BS post, but its more of a thank you post for the community, you guys helped so much with this car, and pics will be coming as soon as i can find the cable for my camera

yeah that is true, but like i said i ran it for months, and i never really had a bad time with it, Wine (Windows Emulator) can run most stuff, like... WoW, Counter Strike, etc etc. ubuntu is really really popular, and for the most part if you have a question or having a problem, just typing that string into google will give you some walkthroughs on how to fix it.

btw lagos, none of that was directed at you it was more of a broad statement to anyone thinking about trying it. i need to get another pc up and running to just run that on
