Hello, I'm in the Toronto area. I am trying to sell my car as is. I'm not looking to part out the parts. Obviously the pictures in my profile was how the car looked 5 years ago. There are some rust on it now but can be fixed up. Please contact me if you are interested and send me your offers. I have 2 cars and I don't think it is pratical to keep both. Email me at naml_31@hotmail.com. Thanks WHITE_GTS |

Hi, I would like to know where I can purchase a replica Erebuni Style rear lip. It will be style # 404 or 404A. I am just looking for the rear lip as some idiot hit my car and my insurance company can't get this lip any more from Erebuni as they no longer produce it. So if someone can point me to a website on where I can get this rear lip I would appreciate it. Thanks WHITE_GTS |

Hi, I'm planning to let go of my 1994 Celica GTS 5 Speed in Spring. It has 265,000KM on it and still runs great. Check my ride out in the member section as my picture is posted up. I'm not really sure what I'm letting the car go at but I'm wondering what I can get for it right now. I'm accepting resonable offers as I plan to let the car go in late March or early April. Car has minor rust on 2 spots which can be easily be fixed for couple hundred dollars but that can be done by the new owner... Again I'm located in Toronto Canda. QUOTE(Batman722 @ Aug 23, 2005 - 9:38 PM) OK relax, you are close. It is confirmed - there is obviously a bare and live (+) wire touching something it shouldn't. That is what blew a fuse. That is why your radio and clock is still on. Look around and try to find that wire. Try to find where the spark was, there should be a burned mark somewhere the wire hit. Keep your head up, you are close to solving this... FYI fuse locations : in the bay and left side of lower dash panel under steering wheel (both inside fuse box covers are labeled) Thanks to whoever replied to my topic. I found out that the ignition switch is damaged and I told the shop to replace it and that fixed the problem. Basically the switch will not turn off all the way before the key is out. It is still on the ACC mode which is the mode where you can still hear the radio and see the clock and everything is turned off. So that was it my ignition was messed up with some wires. Cost me $170CAD to get that fixed. I got my car started again. I forgot to tighten the screw on the negative side of the battery. That was my mistake. Thanks anyways guys! |

QUOTE(Batman722 @ Aug 23, 2005 - 8:44 PM) questions what work was done under the hood ? do you have an aftermarket amp/stereo ? was the car ever in a front end accident ? there is a radio fuse in the engine bay (the long fuse box near the battery). My guess is that there is some wire touching the + on the battery or some other wire around there touching something were there is all time power going to it. solutions : 1 check under the hood were the + battery terminal is and see what is connected to it. See if there is some other wire chafed/scuffed and there is bare metal wire touching it around the fuse box or comming from the fuse box. hint - turn the car off and key out (radio is still on and up loud enough to hear outside the car) and wiggle some wires to see the radio turns off. You might be able to find the suspect wire there. Also, you might get a spark and blow a fuse if a wire with all time power touches something it shouldn't (like any metal on the car) 2 check behind the radio center panel for the same (scuffed/bare wire touching something) <- not likely but worth a try if 1 fails check it out and post back My Engine needed the Timing Belt and Water Pump replaced and the Spark Plugs was also replaced. Car has never been in an accident before. I've tried what you said and I did blow a fuse. Now it's even worst. I can't even start the car any more. The car will not crank-up or even start. My powerwindows will not work anymore. The radio and clock is still on. Now my main concern is to be able to detect which fuse I need to replace. I checked basically all the fust and they are all still good. Which fuse controls the ignition startup and the power windows? I'm so stressed right now. I guess I'm gonna have to tow it to the show tomorrow instead of driving it in. Any ideas which fust to check now? |

Everything is working and is normal but the clock and the radio stays on when the car is off. I'm stressing so much as I can't disconnect the battery everytime I am done driving. |

Hi, I've haven't been on this forum for a really long time but I am in need for some help or suggestions if possible. Do you know what could cause my cars clock and radio to stay on when the car is turned off? The key is taken out of the ignition as well. It happened today once I got my car back from the shop. The shop was only doing some engine work and when I called them they said they never touched any cables besides the cables that were attached to the battery as they had to disconnect the battery. Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated. Right now I disconnected the battery as I don’t want my battery to be drained out. (Only the clock in the top of the console and the radiostays on when the key is out) Thanks |

I think the wing has to go and the taillight covers don't go to well. Otherwise the car is fine. |

I'm up for it as well but I don't want to bring out my car cause it's really dirty and all cause it's winter. So after the snow goes away I won't mind. I say spring will be good for me. Plus I have several things I want to fix up first. Whtie_GTS |

I don't think they would know. I have the orignal receipt for the Koni Yellows still. Same for the CoilOvers. If that helps. They have life time warranty on them. |

However I won't know till next week cause everything is closed this weekend since it is Thanksgiving long weekend right now. |

Well the ride is okay but I rather have the full setup. The Koni Yellows are great with the Ground Control but I want better suspension. One of my buddy has the JIC setup on his Celica and it handles better. I still get some noice here and there when I drive but not all the time. When you have the full setup it is much better over all and it's quite. I would say I still have just under 3 finger gabs from my tire to my fender. I can't drop it that much cause I have a kit and I don't want to scrape on ever driveway I go to. Basically with the money that I spend on both I could if Got the JIC magic's. I would of goth them if I've knew that my stock shocks would blow. And when I got my ground controls on they blew the same day. So to anyone that plans on lowering their car I would forget about the springs or coilovers and just get the full setup. Cause in the end your going to have to change them both or spend around the same amount. |

I have ground control Coilovers on my car right now matched with the Koni Yellow's. I had them on my car since April 2003 which makes them only 7 months old. How much could I sell these for? Looking to buy the Tein's or the JIC Magics. I might be selling them if I can get a good price for them. |

Hi Guys, I was wondering if our car has a TRD spoiler? I've seen the Super spoiler and the Invader and Shogun spoiler but I'm not to in to them. Do you guys know of any good spoilers for our car or what options we have? No metal spoilers at all for me though. Also does the TRD spoiler for the 7th gen celica fit on our 6th gens? |
