Well there you go im sorry i forgot to put FS in front of the topic, so instead of re writing everything agian ill just link it to my craigslist all the info is the same but its more detailed on CL. also the car does have an Intake and Catback exhaust. For you guys ill sell it for 3000$

Ok i have a 99 gt auto with all the options and i was wondering. How much is a reasonable price to sell her for? I checked kbb.com and although i was in an accident (not my fault thats why texting in the car will soon be illegal here) and there is a huge dent taking up the drivers side rear quarter panel, i believe my car is under the fair condition category, because it is in great running condition i do all the basic maintenance on time, just gotta have the dent repaired which is about a 2 grand job. Yet under the fair condition category it says my car is worth 5700$!! 0_0 is this correct and if not what is a reasonable price to sell her for with the damage to the quarter panel fixed and the price without? I wanna get an mr2 turbo but also i want to purchase another 6gc preferably a 94. Sorry if this is in the wrong section i just need a good idea because 5700 seems a little high to me.

I have heard these are illegal in cali without having projectors to point them at the ground. Supposedly because of the stock housing the light will blind people at night , and you supposedly need projectors because they are aimed at the ground. Any truth to this because i would hate to get behind a cop if i had a set i already seen a buddy get a ticket for it.

Real quick question on the other exhaust thread it says from the cat all the way back is that correct i always heard that no performance gains are seen unless the cat is switched to a high flow or deleted completely in exchange for as straight a pipe as far back towards the headers as possible

I was just sitting here pondering just now and i wondered. I would like a louder sounding exhaust, but i dont have the money right now to take the muffler off that i have now and get a new one (gonna do a cat back when i do that ) so my question is what would be the pros and cons of unbolting any part of the exhaust system underneath. I know a friend of mine did it with his turbo miata he is running with open headers, but my car is of course N/A and in doing that i would lose all my torque and god knows what else. I was thinking of unbolting after the resonator or something similar to that but i dont know if that would affect back pressure or not. So is this just a cheap idea or a total waste of time? if so ill just wait lol.

No my tranny isnt bad its just.... auto but i wanna do the swap i know what i need, i was just milling the junkyards yesterday saw a 5gc with a manual tranny and i wondered if it could be used for the swap. Now i know tho that its not a good choice, thanks to you so ill try to look into a solara tranny i was just wondering the options. I was gonna do a 5sfte or a v6 swap but most likely the first one due to emissions.

Hey guys i was wondering, do i have to use a transmission out of a 6gc for the tranny swap or can i use one from a different toyota? If so what different toyotas can i use i know solara but what about a 5gc or even a 7gc Gt of course camry too a list of tranny swap possibilities would be kinda cool

Yeah i live in San Diego and sometimes i cant stand the cops here. When resident evil extinction first came out me and some buddies hopped in my celi, and went downtown.Of course if any of you live here you know that on a friday night things get crazy down there, you get one of two types of people, the ones that flood the street, and generally act stupid in there intoxication. Or the wealthy to extremely wealthy crowd,who figure they are above everyone because of their social status. This was the weekend after i had installed my muffler, and like i said we were gonna watch a movie, when one of the 05' and up mustang gt's pull up to me with his giant chrome wheels, and super loud exhaust system and starts revving at me hardcore. He friggin revved so loud it set off quite a few car alarms, to say the least, of course there was one of those annoying bicycle cops behind us, who then proceeded to tap on my window and tell me to pull over to the side. Meanwhile the light turns green the mustang now probably laughing his ass off that he escaped by pinning it on another person, drives off the people in the bar across the street start cheering, and after arguing with this dan akroid (sp) looking cop for fifteen minutes, and being late for my movie he gives me a ticket saying im lucky im just getting that,or he would have givin me the 300$ go to court and have them look at my engine bay and make sure the entire car is legal ticket.Plus during the whole thing he tells me "licence and registration...pop ur hood." At the time all i had was a stock engine bay with a red filter on the intake pipe (the previous owner disconnected the stock air box and stuck a filter on the end of the intake pipe converting it to short ram.) and he looks at me and proceeds to give me a "Does the dmv know about this!" and im just like whatever long story short cops are assholes. I have another story about a seperate incident if you guys wanna hear it

I heard the toyota version wouldnt be available in the states. If it comes to that ima buy the subi one and convert it to the celi version.
