yea i had to change my cv axle for both driver and passenger cause the boot busted... all i did was just twist and pull... since its just geared in there it will eventually pop out.Just the part where you have to put it back in is a pain... and i have a auto 7afe.. i think i put in 5 quarts of auto tranny fluid. after i flushed it out.

I have a 97 Toyota Celica St Limited Edition Automatic (Emerald Green) 18x,xxx miles

Trying to sell or trade for a older model preferrably 94-95 model gt manual hatchback (still in good condition) stock+cash (however much the difference)

Selling price is 4,500

everything in the car is still in good shape I have kept up with this cars maintenance and all its needs... just had new timing belt replacement, drivers side cv axle replace, coolant change, oil change ( only use mobile 1 oil full synthetic), power steering fluid, brake fluid, transmission flush... new spark plugs...a/c still cold as ever.

wanted to keep this car as OEM as possible so all i ever did to this car was put in glow gauges (changed cluster lights to red and blue blinkers) and painted the interior white.. everything else is stock.

for a 10 year old car it has its wears and tears..both back fenders are bent in a little but nothing to worry about its just a little dent... wont effect its looks other then that everything is still in good condition for a 10 year old car... old model sony exploder CD player doesnt really operate, plays but buttons dont wanna work and FF/RW button missing...Moonroof isnt operational at the moment cause it needs a new belt put in... in the process of getting a new motor and belt.
will try to get pics up asap

if this car doesnt sell by the end of december i will be posting it in autotraders or try to find a dealer thats willing to trade it for a older celica... just wanted to post here and see if i get any hits.

i have just one question for this before i go ahead and start ordering the clip and all parts needed for this.

for those who has already done the swap... since in nc they do a OBD-II Emissions test on all cars 96 and up.. i was wondering if i was to swap to a 3sgte...will i get any problems with the obd test results and those that swapped already..do you guys have any problems with your check engine light always on or if everything is correctly placed the light doesnt flash...? thanks
