I blew my headgasket on 14 psi boost, but I think it was in bad shape from before.
I have been searching for a upgraded one for 7a-fe and it looks like the one to use would come from a 4a-zge (think it was that, dont have my notes atm)

Greddy EM is also recomended so you can adjust fuel cut and ignition.
Still cant get the ignition to work but everything is ok.
Gonna make a howto as soon as I figure out the ignition wire.

@Pebel89: could you look at your ignition wire harness setup? Should be 2 wire's on plug number 2 on the EM blue.

Any know what wire on the ecu that's for ignition to the E-manage?

I have 2 different ecu pin outs from Toyota and they are different...
Both are for 7A-FE.

yeah but what im confused about is why we need a 2bar map sensor, isnt our stock map sensor able to read 1bar? so 15psi is more then enough for me.

You could go with e-manage and get the greddy boost sensor for it.
You'll also get to controll the injectors and the fuel cut with it.

so whats the added benefit to controlling timing? i currently have safc2 and fmu but some ppl say emanage is better and i cant run over 7psi without emanage? and if i do get the emanage getting the unit, plus the software would be good enough?

You'll get some knocking with to much boost and advanced timing.
Low fuel octane and warm days wont help either smile.gif

I am not familiar with the safc2, but I picked the E-manage cause it can change the map sensor signal so no fuel cut, and the ignition timing.

I have read alot of this and that, so instead I just went on with it and running 14 PSI on stock engine.
Still some problems with the e-manage injection wire's but I hope to solve it pretty soon smile.gif
Been running for 1 week (wohoo!) and no faults/problems so far.

Upgraded pump don't change the pressure, only the flow.

That ebay FPR will actually close fuel return when the pressure is risen enough. Pretty crappy.

Stick with known brand that works smile.gif

Figured out this weekend that Precision injectors fit the fuel rail.
Need some grinding on the bottom to fit the top though.

Theese injectors are pretty cheap and come in high imp.
Need to change the connector also so think this is just for thoose that cant get any other injectors or have some one the shelf.

Any one have a e-manage wire diagram or a celica st200 wire diagram I could have?

7A-FE engine. Not sure if the car has the same ecu pinout as any other Toyota's.

Sure you can, just hook off the rod from the actuator on the turbo.
Wont build any boost with that off.

Do you have a e-manage wire diagram? ( I need one smile.gif )
