Ha Thanks for all your replies. Awesome to have so mush support. Just came back from getting my CV boots replaced. They had completely broken off and I had been riding like that for 6 months. Anyway I asked my mechanic what to install to increase the performance. He said I should put in a new exhaust system, Performance chip which he thinks can be installed, I don't know but I guess we will find out when I take the car to Toyota and a better air filter. I am defiantly putting in more sound. I have a pioneer radio and speakers so I will probable stick with pioneer. Just need to get 2 x 12" subs and 2x 6x9s. I think 2 X 12"s should be load enough. |

Yes you are right the 6 gen only came out with the VVT-i engine while the 7 gen got the vvtl-i engine. My mistake. |

Yes they are nice looking cars but I prefer the 6 gen. Is the VVtl-i engine in the 7 gen faster then the 2.0L VVtl-i engine in the SS3 or are they the same? |

Did you guys know that the VVtl-i engine has been discontinued because it doesn't meet the Euro iv specifications for emissions. As a result, some Toyota models have been discontinued, including the Corolla T-Sport (Europe), Corolla Sportivo (Australia), Celica, Corolla XRS, Toyota Matrix XRS, and the Pontiac Vibe GT, all of which had the 2ZZ-GE engine fitted. Just FYI Anyway the most noticeable feature of the VVTL-I engine is the red top with the word Breams written on it. Here's a video that explains how it works .http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSH3hv458Rw&NR=1 |
