They're rare as hell. They're really just not that desirable compared to GT-Four stuff. I got lucky when I had my coupe. I've been casually looking for another Curren clip for 3 years. Honestly the fastest, but expensive, way would be to contact an importer and import a front clip. Hey, if you get a Curren ZS front clip you get the 3S-GE biggrin.gif Also if you do get a clip, get a 96-98, looks 10x better IMO. Anyway goodluck!

Mine was shipped from FL to SC. It was shipped on a pallet from a shop down there. I think it was $175-$200. Try FedEx I'm pretty sure that's what the shopped used. I shipped a S30 Z quater panel for dirt cheap and that thing was huge. If it's across the country, you might be looking at $250-$350.

I've done it on a coupe, pretty much a LHD Curren TS. I guy in cali put a curren front on a convertible, and playr put the front on a hatch. There's all three trims lol

I love the 2 RHD cars idea. I had 2 before it was nice to have them both. I know I'll prob get flamed but I've searched and searched, and I thought you couldn't tow a car across the US/CAN border without customs paperwork.

I have searched for so long time find a picture of this rumored "Curren convertible" in northern california. So after a night of browsing for curren stuff. I finally came across it. So those of you who have wondered what a curren front on a vert would look like here you go......

I think it looks cool, but I dont like the shaving or bodykit

Can someone lower this for me?

Also, if possible, could you get rid of the front license plate too? thanks!

Been in contact with these guys http://www.jdmdepot.us/index.html they claim that they can get a JDM rolling chassis into the US. I'm just wondering how they get a rolling chassis through US Customs when their shop is in the West Indies kindasad.gif I'm waiting on an email from them regarding getting it through US Customs so we'll see........

Oh yea i will get a facelifted one that's for sure. The 96-98's are pure sex, the 94-95's look too camryish lol.

richee3 the Curren crash bar is different from the Celica's and so is the glass, door beams, frame rails, and gas tank (at least that's the way it was comparing my 180 to a 240). It's like a Silvia or ITR they may look very similar, but completely different cars as far as U.S. Customs is concerned kindasad.gif

I've done a lot of Curren research I even made the wiki page for the Curren lol I was bored at work feel free to make changes to it

Thank you for all your responses, I know US Customs raided some shops all over the country. I'm not a fan of converting cars, but there's no record of any real Curren in the states so I wouldn't mind.

njccmd2002- I'll look into those guys thanks a lot, 808celica- I remember everyone saying not to sell it, trust me im kicking myself lol

block- let me what you find out man

thanks again everyone

I've been looking into buying another RHD car. I have owned a Nissan 180SX and a Nissan Gloria, but it seems all the shops that I used to do business with have gotten shut down frown.gif Does anyone know of any shops in the USA that still sell full uncut chassis? If not I'll probably just order a Curren ZS front clip and convert it to RHD, but I'd much rather have the real deal. I built a LHD "Curren clone" a couple years ago and miss it to death, so I'd like a real one this time. Any info would help

If it's Curren related I gotta chime in. I sold my 96 ST coupe , aka my "us-spec curren replica" , back in the day. If anyone in the southeast of the USA knows who owns it now, pm me

Anyone have pics of a Curren front on a Celica convertible? I think that may be my next build.......

Here was mine, it is NOT a simple bolt conversion. When I owned it back in 08 it was the only known Curren clone to exist. My front end was a zenki the Currens you have pictured are of the kouki model which had redesigned taillights, redesigned front bumper, clear front blinkers, and that 'ITR' like grille.

light weight flywheel
trd short shifter
stock solid rear axle 4:10 gears and lsd
corbeu seats and harnesses

nrg quick disconnect
real oem wood toyota shift knob
the interior was stripped and covered in sound dampening material and the reassembled only missing the headliner and rear bottom seat
koing remember wheels with fresh rubber
super pulled and rolled fenders
new wheel bearings
new starter
new alternator belt

bad--
the stock tach doesn't work due to the swap (i have a new one i will include)
gas gauge needs adjustment reads half tank when empty
no radio

This car is a blast to drive, its the most fun I've ever had behind the wheel.

Price is $5500obo

Ok I'll chime in here. I imported a 1993 Nissan Gloria into the states 1 of 2 in the USA. Here's who I used

http://gspeedcorp.com/bodyshell2.html

Go to contact and email a guy named Kenji, he's really cool he takes care of you. They sell the cars with the engine taken out, however they have a shop next door who installs them and cleans up the engine bay. As far as registration, they have someone in Missouri title it under the 10-digit VIN number. I never did get my car fully registered as I had a junk Q45 laying around and took the VIN plates. So I'm not too sure on the registration part. And on a final note to those who are screaming that's illegal, you'll get your car crushed, you'll go to jail, I was pulled over so many times not a damn thing ever happend to me. If I lived in Cali though forget it.

I'm bored and I'm thinking about getting another coupe, and the thought crossed my mind of doing an AWD swap from a GT4. Is this even possible or does it have to be a hatch? just wondering
