malpaso...kom med förslag smile.gif

Vincent_doggy: sorry, i didn't think anyone outside sweden would be intrested. 15" wheels and "bra" means "good" in swedish...

englishspeaking people: should I translate the add or is it unnecessary?

Hej!

-Blaupunkt MP3/CD med AUX-in (koppla in din mp3-spelare, infällt i armstödet)

Står hos mina föräldrar utanför Motala.

Sounds good, think i will try both the rubing and the colored wax to get her in shape.
My only concern is that the red wax not will be the right color and it will be "flames" or "blures" areas instead of a solid color.

Is there any way to get the wax off if the result is bad?

Hi,
I just want to know if someone have tried the colored waxes that are avalible? My car has some minor scratches and I'm tinking about trying a wax with color to even out the small color differences. The scratches isn't through the paint, just some minor things from bushes and soft things.

no oil or someting in it, probably some rust or someting like that from the radiator itself. Flushed the system a week ago and checked it again today and it seems to be clear...think I will check it again next weekend just to be safe.

Wasn't as bad as it looks. Took the termostat out and it was clean. Flushed the radiator three times, one of them with a cleaner and had the car running between the different times, with both the heat and AC in full use...

The system seems clen now but I will check it next weekend and se how it looks.
Tanks for all ideas and help.

yeah, it's pretty nasty. But it hasn't been that for long, i checked all fluides a month ago or so but still...it's bad. I will flush it with water tomorrow and if it still is bad in the end of next week, i have to check with a shop or something...

I'll try to keep you updated... biggrin.gif

Hi,
I need some help with my radiator, the water is pretty dirty. I think I might go to my parents tomorrow and try to flush the system but have anyone else had this problem?

The brown stuf is not hard, rather like soft mud or wet sand. No samll stones or anything.
Any ideas of what it is and why it is there and what to do?

Tanks

I hade the same problem...except my glas was broken så I knew their would be water in the taillight as soon as it started to rain.

My sugestion is to take it out...tape over the holes wher the bulbs are and then put the taillight in the bathtub or something. Then you should be able to se where the airbubbles are comming from...

Good luck

Hi,
my friends hyundai getz -02 got stuck in gear, think it's the 2nd gear. I can move the stick up and down with no restistans att all (it do stop at the position a let it go) and the gear don't change if the stick is in the upper or lower position. I can't move the stick sidways.

The cables connected to the stick, that you se if you look under the leather cover, is moving so those aren't broken.

Anyone got any idea what it might be???

so, is it better to have a too small amp or should the amp be bigger then the sub(s)? (and then you just have to be carefull with the volume?)

Smaller amp mening less power (watts)...

And sure, the exact same power must be the optimal but i don't have that option... smile.gif

QUOTE (Sinyk @ Jan 5, 2009 - 3:27 PM) *
I have an Eclipse head unit that's about 8 years old now and it also had the AUX input in the back. I bought one of those aux-in to i-pod cables off of ebay to give it a shot and sure enough it didn't work. The problem is, my head unit has to be told a device is connected to the auxiliary (just like the remote line on an amp that turns it on) and will only activate that connection when it does. So since my ipod could do no such thing, I couldn't get the auxiliary input to work. So before you buy a cable, make sure your head unit either has the ability to select auxiliary input in one of it's menus or that your unit doesn't have to detect a specific device connected to it.

Have you tested to put a constant +12V/+5V so that your head unit always thinks that the aux is on...or put a switch in their so you can choose?
My headu unit hade the option in the sofware menus to I didn't had that problem biggrin.gif

My head unit is about 5 years old, it was at the time a basic model from Blaupunkt, and it has a aux-in in the back. The only problem I had was to find the right cables to the iso contact, but ebay is good for rare parts. smile.gif

So, are you sure that your head unit don't have aux-in? If it dosn't...buy a new one wink.gif

I did some research.
if you have a blown HG [what i was fearing]..Its possible for
the coolant to have oil in it and not have collant in the oil.
and vice versa...So no according to the info on the net you can
have one w/o the other.

Cool, never heared about. Good Luck...

If you got oil in the water...shouldn't it be water in the oil then? so my tips is to check the oil and see if the oil is brown(ish). But it think it is just sludge... smile.gif

How's the freeze plug? Does is leak any fluid?
Good luck, hope you can fix it, I really hate when the engine freezes...my old Opel did that a couple of times.

I had to replace mine last year and it is easy to do. Don't be afraid to use some force when you want to take the pumb of the fluid bottle...or you can take the hole bottle of... smile.gif

wow...a lot of different answers... smile.gif

My alternator sequels a little from time to time (maybe more when it's wet outside(?)). Don't think the belt is loose since i tighten it last christmas but I haven't check the condition of it, I'm not that worried since it stops sequeling after a few seconds. smile.gif

But try to find out where the sounds come from smile.gif
