A sub will work with any head unit...my sub is hooked up to my stock headunit cause i dont feel the need...or should i say i dont have the money right now to buy a new one

i can never go to the main 6gc.net page....i always have to type in www.6gc.net/forums the home page will not work no matter what i do

well its gonna be like 120 bucks to make my car drivable...damage was less than we thought...it might need a new steering gear which is like 800 bucks or something...but we gotta wait till it gets to my stepdads shop tomorrow so he can check

I dunno yet..i am gonna fight it..i just got the ticket..i tried to talk to the cop and he was just like sorry you should have been able to keep your vehicle under sontrol...but yes i am gonna fight it

i got a ticket when my inner and outer tie rods broke on the highway..and my car flew over in the right lane and i got a ticket for a wreckless lanechange..even though i had no steering

I rode in my friends 99 si the other night..only mods he has is an exhaust...and i could tell that he wasnt even trying and was accelerating much quicker than my celica

ill probably just get a gs eclipse then...im gonna have to get something else..and at least it something i want..it doesent have to be turbo..i can always do that later

Im just worried now that im gonna get sued since i didnt have insurance

but i think if i just get a new control arm i can drive the car even with the body damage..but im not sure yet

Well I now am sorry to say I no longer have my Celica...as I wrecked it driving down the highway yesterday...somehow i was driving an I completely lost steering so my car swerved to the right ..I slammed on the brakes but it was too late ...I side swiped a EVO 8 and rear ended a van...needless to say I didnt have insurance so now Im out of a car which really sucks...But anyway after we pulled to the side of the road i saw the problem with why my steering went out...the (control arm) (i think thats what it is) had broken so only the drivers side wheel was turning in completely snapped off the passenger side wheel...so now my life is officially gonna suck without a car

I realise this is a celica board and I realise the fact that im gonna get ****..I just think that the people who post on this topic should either be happy or at least have something positive to say or dont post on it at all...

When I first got my celica I loved it...now its just time to move onto something better (IMO) I just cant justify spending 5 or 6 thousand on just an new engine...let alone the fact that i have a ST Coupe...and im pretty sure I would spend an arm and a leg trying to find a newer 5sp hatchback GT...I also do realise that the 3SGTE is a bad ass engine...but honestly how many people can even afford to build it up to its full potential..and by the time you spent that much you might as well have bought a Supra or something

Please dont flame me foranything Ive just said..Im just trying to get the point out that he amongst others on this board probably want something else and just to be happy for them

Im sorry but who gives a **** how common a car is? You can always make your car unique...and everyone says the 6gc is rare I see like 5 on my way to work everyday...now if you wanna talk about a common car...look at the mustang..those are everywhere you cant turn your head without seeing one somewhere..and ill admit Eclipses are common but how many of the are GS-T or GSX not too many where I live..I havent seen a GSX in a few months and GS-T in like a week or so...

But honestly who cares why cant everyone just be happy that someone is getting a car that they would rather have.

Yea..I didnt think about it like that..ive found quite a few gs-t and what not but for the prices i can afford..the newest gs-t ive seen for like 5000 is a 96..and one 97 but im sure itll be sold by the time i get the money...but the newest GS/RS was a 99 for like 5500 i think...im still looking to get the gst or gsx but its just the problem of finding one

also i could build the NA motor up and then turbo it...

Well I read somewhere that the NA versions have a different motor and dont get crankwalk..or at least rarely get crankwalk...also putting a turbo on the NA version will be quicker than the GS-T....but ehh ill probably end up getting a GS-T anyways...but i need to check on insurance first

Not necessarily..A GS-T will top out higher if you want more top end..but of course a GSX is just gonna rape a GS-T off the line..so it really depends on what you want...there is a GS that runs 10's and that is FWD...i personally would like a GSX just cant find one for cheap enough

which means ill probably have to settle for the GS-T or GS and then get the Hahn Racecraft Kit

Im gonna be getting an eclipse as well...as for getting a turbo..i might just get a GS and get the Hahn Racecraft Kit..stage one is like 1.5 sec 1/4 mile quicker than gs-t...Stage 2 was like 2.5 sec quicker..or something like that..and as for crankwalk as far as ive heard it doesent really happen on the non turbo which is a different engine than the turbo..someone correct me if im wrong though...

UMM why would you get a 3SGTE and want to put in an auto?

That would ruin the fun of having the engine

Whenever i click a link it just never loads..just comes back and says page cannot be displayed..

Im having a problem Coomer..ever since the site was updated this last time I havent been able to view any of the site except for the home page and the forums..Ive been trying to look at profiles to get some ideas and it wont load the page..I tried to also look at the parts database and it wont load either.

BTW Ive tried on both my desktop and laptop and it is the same for both

There is a couple of shops in Lewisville that do this kind of stuff....one is just completely imports and the other as far as i can tell as ive never been there just driven by a couple of times may just be American Muscle...ie TA's, Camaros, Vettes...but I saw a couple of import there the first time I drove by so maybe they do them as well

I am in but wont have the money for 7 weeks..im currently paying my car off and I dont have a choice but to pay it...So im in but like I said basically 2 months till I have the money
