I live up in Baltimore and am part of a car club that meets in the Giant outside of UMBC. Lots of random cars but I am the only Celica. We meet every Friday at 8PM. Look up the group Dark Nights on myspace.com So if anyone is near there you should hit it up.

Did you see the commercial for progressive auto insurance I think. it was a couple years back and the there is 6gc convertible with a bow on it in garage and the husband likes to drive in the garage with his eyes closed. So I think you can figure out what happens.

I believe it does you just have to modify like one thing so it will fit. Iread an article about it somewhere, I think it was on this site.

Sport Compact Car had a big article on a V6 swap with a MR2 they dicussed they different engines and had over a six page article. It sounded like it would take weeks and the hardest part was the wiring because they could not find an engine from a manual car. They article basically explained in detail everything a person needed to do.

Are those rims still for sale? If they are, can you send me a picture. Are they in good shape? If so I am interested.

The middle of the seat surface is leather but the sides are vinyl. I noticed this because mine are white and they are discoloring at different rates.

Yeah last winter I screwed up my Celica real good, when I hit my friend's in his 98 Talon (his first day driving it). The insurance paid for all $4000 dollars of it. Unfortunatly they have decided to have me start paying it back this year in a significant raise in rates. But hey since they had to repaint about half the car I paid $2000 for them to finish the rest of it. Which is goofd for two reasons; one the exact color match wasn't very exact and two 120,000 miles had nearly destroyed the paint on the front spoiler. So you never know what might come out of the situation.
