What size tho? If you truly meant 205-55r15 then of course unless there is something weird IDK about that tire? www.tirerack.com has a search by brand or by car - pic your car and look for that tire - maybe that will help?

i got them in 205/50/15s. Right now I have these random touring tires on my car that have the 55 sidewall. I'll be getting the tires next week and I am seriously stoked that I will have some grip back.

I flipped my bald fronts to the rear so that I would have some grip. Turns out this car really unsettles itself midcorner with no rear end grip. Its tight!

Must be cause you asked if the same size tire [stock size BTW] would fit on your car. What size were you actually thinking?

haha, good to hear. I was pretty out of it when I posted that. Im gonna wrap this baby in some falken rt615s.
thanks again.

Silly question but will 205/55/15's fit on my wheel? Right now I'm running 205/55/15's and want to make sure that my wheel can handle it. Reason being is that I am going to buy RT615s and thats the size they come in.

Wow! That thing looks brand new. Are you the original owner? Or did an old granny own it before you, and hence the low miles? Prolly not b/c it is a manual.

it was a company car that just wasn't driven much. I'm the second owner.

thanks everyone.

mike: i do have a few scuffs and scrapes but no rust and really no marjor damage (no real minor damage either)
I totally forgot. Yesterday my drivers side window died. It will go down with a bit of fanfare but when it tries to go up the lights just dim and nothing occurs. I'm going to be pulling the panel this weekend and trying to figure it all out.

Nice car!

a clutch is more important than springs. go about 40mph in 3rd/4th gear and step on it, if it revs and no catch, i'd say replace it.

springs would be fun to go along with that new clutch.

exedy or act are some nice options.

for the clutch i mean.

oh god no, my clutch is nowhere NEAR that bad. She catches in all the gears, its more there is not a TON of clutch feel when it actually engages.

If a medium drop and stock quality ride are what you want - then Sportlines are def for you. There will be no issues with the stock wheels as long as tire diameter is still stock.
Beautiful car and welcome to the best site for it. biggrin.gif

I'm just looking to make my car a bit more aggresive looking with a moderate handling increase.
(I would also be getting stickier tires.)

Welcome! wow, that car is in really nice condition smile.gif No rule against introducing yourself and showing us your ride..in fact it's encouraged wink.gif Search the stickies and you'll find ALOT of info about you're car and answers to you're questions as well.

thanks. I have gone through the stickies i just wanted to see if I have missed anything. I don't have anymore shots of my car but I got a ton of other cars.

Well, I have been lurking for the past 2 months or so and decided that it was about time to introduce myself. I couldn't really find any rules against a hello thread but you can move and delete this if need be.

Ok, now that that is out of the way, let me introduce myself. My name is Matt O'Leary and I own a 97 Celica ST 5spd. She only has 54k on the clock (someone was talking about clean celica's in another thread so I felt compelled to post) and is in pretty grand condition.

She's alot of fun to drive up in the mountains and the fact that this car exhibits such fantastic lift off oversteer is a massive plus.

Now for the bad news and the questions.
My clutch has very little feel in it and multiple petrolheads I'm friends with have said that my clutch is close to going. However they said this 3000 miles ago and I'm still going with no noticeable change in the clutch feel or car performance. I will eventually need to replace it and plan to do the work myself with massive help from people who know infinitely more than I.
what do I need?

I was going to just go ahead and buy springs for the car but decided I should ask the experts if my choice is sound and without unforeseeable snags. With my stock wheels on the car will the eibach sportlines be out of the question? Judging by what I have read on this forum and others they seem like exactly what I want.

I have a ton more questions but I seem to have run out of patience with myself. So, there ya go.

fake edit: yes my license plate says BRO in it, it slays me.
real edit: I paid 7600 before taxes
