Thank you very much corey, i think i will just have to drop a 3sgte motor in. my car has done over 120k miles so she does deserve a new motor. Yeh i need to do some research on this.. like you said probably best to speak to someone who has made this swap, there are some questions only people who have made this swap will be able to answer.. A few that come to my mind are.. Does the 3sgte engine have to come from a celica Gt4 or can it be from a Mr2? Will the st202 gearbox mate with the 3sgte engine? Engine mounts? will that be an issue? clutch? Ecu? If anyone has a 3sgte engine for sale please let me know. omar |

hello every one, i am new to this website so please take it easy on me. I have the same celica as paul and i want it to be faster (170hp just isnt enough), i have two options but im not sure what would be easier. Is it better just to swap the motor with a 3sgte or to turbo the existing 3sge? I am also on a budget and going to be doing most of the work my self. thanks |
