Got it all pulled apart and sprayed a massive amount of contact cleaner on it while repeatedly depressing the switch and that seemed to have solved the issue. Thank you

QUOTE (Syaoran @ Mar 28, 2013 - 7:52 PM) *
... and it's been there for a while. I've just dealt with and forgotten about it, but maybe it's time to fix it.

The powerlock on that side doesn't work. The lock has to be held open for somebody to be able to open the door, otherwise it'll partially close itself and leave the door open but not able to open it completely.

It's bothered me for a while but since I don't have passengers very often I've forgotten about it.

Any ideas on where to start looking at?

I have the same issue, did you ever find a solution? I took the door panel off and tried lengthening, shortening and completely disconnecting the rod to the knob next to the handle and nothing seemed to fix it.

I'm having issues with the "brake" light on my dash not coming on. I have a remote start and the light needs to come on in order for the system to arm itself. Sometimes it turns on when I pull the e-brake but most of the time I get nothing. Any idea what could be causing the issue and/or how to fix it?

Fall 2008 Mount Rainier Run and Install Meet!

So, this year we are doing a back-to-back install meet and cruise.

It is going to be held at our place in Auburn, WA. See www.ToyotaSyndicateNW.com for address and directions.

Saturday, October 25th, we are installing at least one set of lowering springs, Strut Support Brace and whatever else someone has to install.

If anyone wants to learn more about spring replacement, just help with the transformation or
just hang out, BBQ burgers and drink all day long.. You are all welcome.

And.. as always, BYOB

Then, to anyone that wants to crash here for the night, you are more than welcome. bring your pillow and blankie.

Then on sunday morning, we will head down to Dixie's Home Cookin' in Sumner, WA for Breakfast.. and then on to the Mountain!!

So, Install meets starts at 10 am on Saturday. Bring BBQ items, drinks and your personalities.
