Ok so I just had one question before I do this. The book/the guy at autozone made it seem a little too easy.

I get that you undue the 3 bolts and take out the two connectors and all the basics, my main question is regarding the belt. How will I know if the belt is properly put back on/tight enough? Is there a special tool I'll need or can I do it myself?

Thanks,

Matthew

****UPDATE: I FIXED THE ISSUE: THANK YOU NJC YOU WERE PRETTY MUCH RIGHT ON. I"M STILL CURIOUS ABOUT THE OTHER QUESTIONS BELOW THOUGH****

I'm going through wiring again today, but I did have a couple questions. Here is a link to a few quick pictures I took with my phone that might help explain what i'm looking at.

http://gallery.me.com/matthewsantiago#100050

Looking at picture 2. I connected the wiring harness to the stock connection (blue colored) underneath the amp. What happens to the connection to the OEM stereo that came from the amp? Should I just keep it there or can I remove the cable?

In picture 3. Also there was the cable for the antenna (I believe) that goes into the back of the cd player. In the stock player there were two, a large and a smaller one. What is the smaller one?

In picture one is what I connected into the back of the head unit.

Hey guys, yesterday I installed a double din screen into my Celica. I followed the how-to post and was able to do it pretty smoothly. I have a 96 GT with a power amp.

The issue I am now having is that when I turn my lights on the audio stops playing. The screen doesn't flicker, dim, turn off, or stop playing. The audio just stops. When I turn the lights off the audio comes back it, never stopping. I'm not even sure where to begin trouble shooting, but I have a feeling I did one of the wires wrong. Any ideas, suggestion, or help?

Thanks,

Matthew

My bad:

I ended up not needing these and they're just taking space

Looking for Best offer and can do paypal (+3%). They are a little shipping so you will have to cover shipping.

mgold87@gmail.com if interested!

A set of KYB struts and Tein Springs....

here is the link to the struts http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...888757&rd=1

I only got front cartridges though... when we took off the front struts the previous owner apparantly replaced the stock struts for Monroe ones that the cartridge can't be replaced in. Can you change out the cartridge on the front stock struts?

Also what other options would I have to make this work? I'm super bummed, but this is partially my fault for just assuming the front struts were stock and that the cartridges could be replaced....

i really do like the look, i'm just not sure how it'd look with the stock front bumper.

i don't really like just the side splitters, and I don't like most of the body kits, so that was something I thought could be sweet.

i'm located near allentown pa, not terribly far from downingtown

Alright so thanks to xitchybx I saw a photoshopped picture of my idea, but has anyone done this on a stock front bumper? I'm curious what it'd look like. Also if anyone has done it to other body kits but in real life.

you can get them <a href="http://www.andysautosport.com/toyota/1994_1999_celica/exterior/accessories/wind_splitters/carbon_creations/carb00000111.html" target="new">here</a>
