i would give the engine a good clean and get all the oil from it and then go for a good run and come and check where its leaking again..i think you will find the oil leaks...but mainly it would be either: crank, cam seal, rear main seal or cracked sump. |

ah the thing is, i never dumped my clutch, im real anal about doing stuff like that, however as far as trannys go, i wish i knew where else to grab an e153 in short notice but i decided to go ahead with the s53 again. ![]() 2 jets!? cool! but at the same time, idk about spraying into the i/c. most of the guys here tap in right before the TB. i hear its more efficient. check this water injection thread lagos made http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h224/lag...on/P1010147.jpg (i know lagos, itchy, pressure, batman, death, and plyr are saying "HOT DAMN! that boy FINALLY used the search button! hallenujah! ![]() yup you can use that its not only efficient it will cool quicker ![]() ![]() |

No, twin disc is awesome, that's two clutch discs. totally different setup than normal but that's HIGH hp stuff, way over kill for your setup. I meant just make sure the disc isn't riveted like the pics I showed you, that should be one solid piece of metal instead of two, thats all. ![]() oh! i gotcha! I was confused for a sec! no even the twin disc you talking about will make the gearbox last in the future...if you have enough money and you want your gearbox to last longer and you have a massive power i would rebuilt my gearbox to a dog teeth gear box which is extremely strong but noisy a bit that type of gear box you can put as much as power on it and it wont die it will last for many times and you wont be scared even if you dumb your clutch ![]() and the style that i am talking about sti or evo water injection...is that you have 30 liters water tank in the boot (trunk) and supply 2 jets to your front mount intercooler ![]() in my opinion the stock clutch is better ![]() |

tell me what you guys think! I think you've torn that 3 month clutch into sh!t. ![]() i think that you were dumping the clutch too much thats what will happene it doesnt effect how much power you have it might slightly but a clutch is a clutch but if you were dumping it that what will happene ![]() if you put a twin plate clutch or heavy duty clutch say good bye to your gearbox ![]() |

Well Saturday I was cruising 410 in San Antonio w/my friend, putting miles on the Integra I built Friday, at about 75. Wasn't speeding, racing, or putting any unnecessary stress on my car at the time. Well an incline came alone and my slushbox decides it needs to down shift. So I'm going up a hill at about 4.5K rpm. and i hear this quiet tapping start. then it slowly gets louder. I call up my friend real quick and tell him i blew my engine, so we pull over at the next exit. I top off my oil and we decide to go back to where we were staying that weekend. 10-15 miles away. So I drive back. Tapping slowly getting worse. So by the time I get into the Garage I'm stuck w/ this: Video my friend i believe that you have bottom end problem piston is slapping on the bores so yeah..but if you want to rebuild it or you want to put a new engine in there...if it was my car i would put a 3sgte engine in there with mr2 gearbox |
