Rusty: Look up pickapart on google Delusionz: I don't know a hell of a lot about celicas, I've just been told that this gearbox is at pickapart and has an LSD. I believe that it came is SS models (though if yours is SS then that blows it right out of the water ![]() I've decided I can't be bothered right now, I don't know what the ratios are right now, or what I need and I've been told I have to spend the money on this bloody school ball ![]() Try checking out www.toyspeed.nz if you're not already there - I'm AE86less. |

Hey guys, I'm putting my ST202 3sge into an AE82 corolla and up until now I have just been planning on using the S54 gearbox that came with it. However a mate of mine has spotted an E56 gearbox in a ST202 at pickapart and I really want LSD goodness ![]() When considering that the box will be going on to the same engine but a different car: what else should I be taking apart from the gearbox itself? Is the starter motor and axles different (etc)? I'm quite concious of time at the moment, the wreckers like to go to pickapart and take all the good stuff ![]() Future thanks ![]() |

Bolt a 4AGE head to the 7AFE block, it'll still rev like stink but you get the torque you would expect from a bigger motor. One of the top Toyota drifters in NZ is running a 7age with quad throttles etc, 'tis mean! |

Hey All! I'm Sam, 18 years of age and studying sports coaching at Auckland University of Technology ![]() I have two pride and joys (Though the red one is for sale to fund the white one ![]() ![]() ![]() The project is to put a 3rd gen (non beams) 3SGE into the AE82, therefore making it a SE82! Progress has been a little slow but it's picking up now, engine mounts will be finalised in the next couple of days. Then I get to move on to the fun stuff like throttle cables and powersteering pipes as well as the horrible job of wiring ![]() Heres some pics of the progress so far ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Some of the snags I've come across so far: -Half shafts may be too long -Corolla hubs won't accept celica half shafts -Engine came with celica front struts and hubs.. but celica is 5x100 and corolla rear is 4x100 -Wiring is going to be horrible (I can barely make sense of wiring diagrams) -The corolla is rusting at a rapid rate of knots Does anyone have a copy of the '96 ST202 wiring diagram? JDM? Cheers lads (and laddesses), this looks like a great club! |
