As a follow up you can get direct replacements for the three main back light bulbs at;

Just scroll down to the neo wedge replacement bulbs. The direct swap is Type B (10mm) wedge bases. The bulb on the rear defroster (mechanical CC unit, it may be different for those of you with automatic units) looks like an 8mm base (Type A) but I have not tried to replace it. If you're okay with bulbs and not LEDs this is a no hassle direct swap. I believe you can swap them out without even taking the back of the CC unit off. I will post some pictures later this evening when the light is more favorable. I tried it out last night and the brightness was comparable to the stock unit, which is what I was hoping for.

I thought I would tag along on this post and hopefully someone is still watching it So I swapped in the Scion stereo which looked bad next to the green cluster gauges so I changed the color of those, and now the climate control looks pretty stupid next to everything else. You can see where I'm going here, one change leads to another leads to another....I've read several of the posts on the topic of changing the climate control colors and now feel mostly confident that I can do it. However, none of the topics asked the question that I have. I'm going to keep it simple at first and keep the individual button LEDS green or orange for now. I am hesitant to use LEDs for the backlights for two reasons; 1) light dispersion (I know there are ways around this) and 2) the inability to dim LEDS without reducing the life. Since the lights are original on the car (13 years old) I don't want to take them out, paint them only to find all of the stress from the process has broken one I figured I would take the next easiest route and just replace the bulbs with newer colored bulbs. I found the following online and thought it would be pretty easy to simply replace the three existing light assemblies. Unfortunately I don't know which (if any) might work. Can someone who has done this before or maybe someone who has their climate control sitting in pieces give me an idea which one to order. I prefer instant gratification and don't want to take the thing apart, measure it and then wait for the shipment

Those look great. This may be a silly question from a newbie, but do these work with the standard factory system, i.e., no amp, and still sound good? I ask because I'm looking to upgrade the sound in my '95 vert and I don't care about having great ground shaking sound, I just want a little bump in performance with as little hassle as possible on the install. If not maybe someone out there can point me in the right direction for what I'm trying to do.

Hello all, this is my first post since I just recently purchased my '95 GT Convertible. I'm learning a lot from the resources on this board and it's already helped me repair the automatic top. Now I'm trying to troubleshoot the passenger side automatic quarter window. It will roll down fine, but when it tries to go up it won't budge, it doesn't even make a noise. I thought it might be the regulator at first, but I've been able to rig up a wire bridge that allowed me to use the driver side electrical path (bridge went from driver side rear quarter window wiring harness to the passenger side power window motor) and the window went up fine, whew not the regulator. But my question is this; does each quarter window have its own relay or is there a single relay for both? The wiring diagram seems to suggest that there is only one, but I'm definately not an electrical expert. I'm trying to determine if I know for sure that the passenger side switch is bad or if there is some other broken component along the signal path. Toyota's infinite wisdom resulted in different wiring harnesses for the driver and passenger side quarter window switches so I can't just switch them out and try it. Thank you all for the help.
