what grit are you using? make sure the inside is free of debris so fiberglass grabs on well. |

That damage looks small enough for a simple repair. Here's what I would do: buy one of those fiberglass kits (available at any autostore or even walmart). cut a sheet to fit over the area and extend it out a few inches. lay the fiberglass sheet from the inside. mix the resin up and cover it, making sure you get rid of all the air bubbles. you could put a couple layers on for extra strength, then use some bondo on the exterior. smooth it out with sanding and spot putty and paint. good luck |
