272,403 miles and yes, still original engine

I have the pair, do you have an address in US or I need to ship it to Juarez ? I know is just across the river from el paso, I just don't trust mail delivery in Mexico.

But I think the O2 sensor needs to be custom fit.

I think is cool.

I auto-X my Celica too, I normally remove spare tire, tools, jack, mats, rear carpet and hatch cover. Also I raise the tire pressure to 40 in front and 38 in the back. Make sure your engine oil is fresh and the battery is tie down.

Try to be as early as you can, so you can walk the course many many times until you can close your eyes and run the course in your head.

OK, no he escuchado nunca lo del vastago corto o largo, pero he leido que otros aqui recomiendan cambiar los amortiguadores al mismo tiempo con los resortes ya que trabajan mas duro por lo mismo que el carro esta mas bajo en su suspencion. Me suena mas logico que los Koni sport amarillo no tendran este problema ya que son mas reforzados y pueden soportar mas la fuerza de los resortes cortos. De todas maneras tus amortiguadores ya estan malos y tienes que cambiarlos.
Hay mas gente aqui que habla espanol, asi que espero que alguien mas te de otra opinion, pero yo no me preocuparia por cambiar los amortiguadores y que el ruido continue, yo voto por que le pongas los Koni amarillos.

otros companeros que le cambiaron sus resortes a sus celicas, experimentaron este ruido pero fue disminuyendo con el pasar del tiempo. Cuanto tiempo tienes con estos resortes nuevos? tambien recomiendan que cuando le cambias los resortes le cambies los amortiguadores (dependiendo de que viejo sean) para que trabajen mejor y no tengas problemas.

Yo creo que si se refiere a los amortiguadores.
Deacuerdo a lo que leo, todavia tienes los originales de Toyota, y consideras cambiarlos por unos Koni.

I have been doing some autocross and I see you celica is all stock like mine, so first I would suggest to run in G-stock so you can see the limits of your car. If you change your springs you will be out of stock classes, so the next step would be STS, in that case i would go with Eibach Sportline and run some light 15" wheels.

It hurts in the pocket at first, but is way better to use high grade fuel, believe me, I travel 150 miles daily and when I fill the fuel tank with premium I get around 450 miles with 1/4 of tank left. If I use medium grade I have 1/8 of tank left, and if I use regular, the gas light turns on.

The front bumper is the best part !!!

Finally, yesterday i got my first trophy in SCCA Solo Racing.

3rd. place out of 7 in G-stock, the 1st & 2nd. were running in race rubber, so i was very happy to be the fastest in street tires.

We had 2 heats, in the morning i was behind a copper-S (with street tires) by .5 sec, but in the afternoon i beat his best time 67.432 vs. 66.993. It was a challenging curse with a BIG 360 degree turn right in the beginning, a long slalom and tight turns and that help against the difference in HP.
