is it true? i heard France didn't originally have 6th gen celicas, people just brought them in from Germany and Italy. I read this up from a french celica forum. I'm referring to left hand drive models only. it's False, in France we have 6th gen. A lot of AT200, some ST202 and, I suppose, between 5 & 10 ST205. I can't wait to take off those front side light reflectors behind the headlights (US version). Yes, it's true we don't have. But we've got a side flashing up to rims, and you don't |

Avez-vous fait réparer votre Timing Belt? Votre Celica paraît très agréable. Quel moteur a-t-il? Engine 3SGE Just missing reassembly of cylinder head cover for fix the engine, I hope... Was it a genuine Toyota belt or did you go aftermarket [No I'm not gonna blame it all on brand - just curious] Nice rims BTW Yes, I prefer buy genuine part. And thanks for rims, I like them but it's nightmare to clean |

Welcome! That's a great looking car you've got there. I wish I could help with the timing belt - my only thought or suggestion would be that perhaps it skipped a tooth or slipped since it looks like one of the edges of it is frayed. I think so, for the tooth. You're right for edge frayed. Fragments winded round camshaft & crankshaft pulley, that why I changed the seals |

Hi all, My name is Arnaud, 29 years old & I've got a ST202 of 1995 with 195000km (I think around 120000 miles). I'm a French guy living in Bordeaux so please apologize for my poor language By now: Stock admission with Green filter Stock exhaust with decat pipe 16" wheels with tires Nankang NSII Springs ultimate -40mm(-1.5inch) TRD Shift Knob By now, I've got a problem with the timing belt & I don't know why. I changed it with a friend and after 1000 miles without any problem, my engine stopped during driving on the Highway. Pic of my timing belt ![]() So by now my ST202 is parked at a friend house to replace the timing belt & in the same time change seals of came shaft, cylinder head cover & crankshaft. When I get back it, I change : all the fluids : Motul Gear 300 for the Gear Box & Motul RBF 600 for the Brake. Front brake : EBC Disc+Red pads suspension : Tein SuperStreet Coil-over tails light JDM SSIII And now some pic: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
