Thanks. Ill try that. The filter your talking about is the small wafer like thing under the plastic cap, right? Sorry for my ignorance. I build MoPar drag cars for a living so this computer controlled stuff is new to me. Seems like its got alot of potential though. |

First off thanks to all of you for this site. Ive been reading the forum religiously since I started "revamping" my fiancee's 94 st. I finally found a problem that I havent found answered already. Probably there just didnt see it. Ive got a C.E.L. thats been on since feb. Dosn't affect performance or reliability so it got overlooked untill now. I read the article about finding codes (thanks again) and determined it to be code 71. According to what I found that is "egr gas temp. less than predetermined level during egr control". What does that mean??? I had to remove and clean the EGR valve and tube in Jan. so it would pass emissions. You can reset the computer and it will go away for a day or two but then comes right back on. Thanks again yall for all the help! |
