I got the cage and seats off a guy on the GT4OC who was breaking his trackcar,
Cage is a Cusco 6 point bolt in, same as this: http://www.fensport.co.uk/Parts/Model_19/Category_2/3528
Im not actually sure what model the seats are!! Il ask the guy I got them off and let you know!

Also got this, need to make up some brackets to mount between the seats for it

Thanks guys,

Shes not too shabby in the speed department, was last dyno'd at 242whp so about 310 @ fly. That was before the fmic and decat, going back on a dyno in a couple of weeks so will stick the new figures up then.
Also ran a flat 13 1/4 mile but that was with a complete interior, full tank of fuel and abit less power!

Im really concentrating on the handling now as the only other real option for a bit more oomph is a hybrid turbo and id sooner spend the cash on coilovers and poly bushes.

Should be a few more additions over the coming weeks/months in time for the first round of the TSS smile.gif

Aswell as sorting out the green GT4 thats been sat on the drive for the last 6 months, wife's starting to moan that she hasn't been able to park on the drive since August laugh.gif

Hi guys

Been registered for a while but never really posted anything!

Iv had my ST205 for over 5 years now and thought id share it with you, incase anyones interested.

It was virtually standard when I got it and has been through a couple of different stages but last year I was on the verge of selling it and buying an Evo but in the end I decided to keep it and turn it into a road legal trackcar, il also be using it in this years Toyota Sprint Series too.

Il cut to the chase and post up from how it stands now

Still got some bits to do on it but hopefully they'll be sorted before the 1st round,il post up as and when they happen wink.gif

Here for sale is my Blitz Nur Spec R exhaust system. It is in very good condition, no dents or marks from what I can see (il be giving it a clean up)

Also selling with it are the stock front pipe and a 3" stainless Japspeed decat/downpipe.

Decat has been on the car for approximately 5 months, the front pipe Im assuming is the original and the Blitz was on the car when I bought it just over a year ago.

This is for an ST205 GT4.

Price, not really sure. Offers around £375.
Would prefer collection or you can arrange a courier.

What it sounds like...it is quite loud!!

No mate its certainly not 257 at the wheels!!

WHP is 174.9!!

Boost pressure was recorded at 16psi with a digital boost gauge in car.
No boost controller was installed, all I had was straight intake, decat and a backbox. Hopefully my new exhaust will yield some much needed extra ponies wink.gif

This won't be as detailed as other peoples threads as I have seemed to have lost some pictures but anyway, here goes!!:

We start back on 8th December 2007 when I pick up my new car, Celica ST205 GT-Four JDM spec.
Here she is the day I got her:

It came with a few mods already done:
Blitz exhaust
Boost controller
Bailey dump valve
16" OZ chronos

First thing I had done was a full major service and then the mods began.

First to go on was the WRC raiser blocks, which were 2nd hand but came in silver so bit of a bonus, for the rear wing and also a TRD badge for the front grille!!

Next on the list was a set of alloys. The tyres allround were very low on tread so thought now would be a good time to replace the 16's for 17's. I would have kept the OZ ones but really wanted 17's so they had to go. I settled on a set of Rota Force, not my original choice but the others I wanted wouldn't clear the front calipers so I went with the Force design, I wanted them in bronze but I ended up with white, along story about that so won't bore you any further!!

Then I bought a HKS boost gauge and a Blitz blow off valve to replace the Bailey one

With the boost gauge in I had a mess around with the boost controller as it wasn't setup, this involved alot of hours twiddling dials and the like, however no matter what the settings were it didn't want to play ball so I disconnected the hoses to the turbo and actuator and plumbed them back into standard. However the boost controller unit does have a digital boost readout so I left that bit in!

Next on the list was a decat/downpipe and a straight intake with a huge Green cotton airfilter

Whilst cleaning the wheels one day I also came across the suspension setup, 4 way GAB adjustable shocks with TRD lowering springs. A bit of a bonus considering the garage I bought it off said it was on standard suspension!!

Late spec rear lights were then put on, can't resist a bargain me!!

October 2008 and we decide to go down to Santa Pod and end up with some disappointing times, 14.7 was the best I could manage!!
Really need some practice at launching a 4wd car, was having a right mare getting it off the line quick enough rolleyes.gif:roll:

December 2008 and down to a rolling road day with the GT4OC, my car puts out a very disappointing 257.2bhp and 215ft/lbs torque.

After the rolling road I then discover that the car doesn't have a full Blitz system as I was told frown.gif:cry:
So I bought this, still waiting to go, a Blueflame cat back system:

Ive also put a HKS SSQV in place of the Blitz bov as I got bored with the sound!!

So plans for the next month is to get the exhaust system on and replace the rear drop links and rear top mounts.

Ive also just purchased an Apexi power fc with hand commander and boost control biggrin.gif
This won't be going on though until I get a front mount intercooler sorted out.

Hopefully this will give me a bit more oomphh and then maybe a bigger turbo at end of the year??

A stock st205, with a good launch is easily capable of getting into the 13's.

I would imagine a front wheel drive 3sgte celica should run low 14's possible into the 13's with a good start.

Have you had the brake pads changed recently? Mine made clunking noises like you described and I replaced the anti rattle shims that sit in the calipers and that solved the problem.

If you gently heat it first with a heatgun/hairdrier then it'll come off alot easier and leave the paint intact.

Thanks for the welcome guys. smile.gif

Yeah the 4wd is awesome, alot more composed then the MR2 Turbo that I had!

Got some late spec rear lights on order, then going to heat wrap the downpipe and fabricate some sort of shield for the air filter. Ive spent enough on it this year so I'll be leaving it at that for the time being. wink.gif
