As far as I konw it used two hybrid turbos, each with a Garret T25 compressor and a Garret T2 turbine.

so not actually Garret, but the bits that mattered were ;-)

in principle you wont be getting knock until the car is under load, so I would suggest your problem (if there is one) is else where

Are there any companies in the US that do wheel arch extensions or possibly you call them fender flares in the US specifically for the gen 6 (ST205) ?

I've seen a few in the UK but not in regards to the celica

cheers biggrin.gif

perry, I noticed the moniter in the center console, do you miss the center air vents at all?

no mate, with the climate control I find the two outer vents do the job quite nicely on their own.

all custom mods are obviously a personal taste thing, so not for eveyone :-)

I bought the lights from www.s-v-c.co.uk and then fibreglassed the surrounds

its a long job sanding them smooth, but worth it in the long run if you like the finished job

yep veilside is fg, you only really get TRD and kaminari that use urethane generally as the production process as a lot harder.

that said the GRP used nowadays is a lot more flexible than the old style fg used to be, and a lot of the poor copies are fg.

the usual problems with fitment are were makers remove the piece from the mould to early and a bumper for instance can spread as it cures, so you end up having to nearly snap it to get it to fit into shape properly.

Being another frozen UK GT Four owner I must admit I like the afterburners but felt 6 lights was too many, so made my own up with four.

only in primer as the cars being sprayed anyway after the kit and wing goes on, but it gives you an idea ;-)
user posted image

the amber indicator sections will be sprayed with red lens spray so the whole light will be red to match the other one

white in the mornings is nearly always condensation in the exhaust, nothing to worry about at all unless you have 'cream' around your oil cap as well.

if you have a big jap exhaust they are ven more prone to the build up of water condensation in the winter, hence the white smoke
