These lights came off of the st206 curren and will fit the coupe version of our Celica. In my opinion, they look better than the stock coupe tail lights because of the black tint. The price is expensive, but I have not seen too many of these posted on eBay over the past couple of years.

I have a '99 Hatchback GT and my radiator kicked the bucket when I was out with my friends one night. I came home and noticed that my temperature gauge was at the top instead of sitting a hair below the half-way point. I called around to various auto shops in my city and found mine at Advance Auto Parts for around $200 I want to say. It can be done in a garage with you and a friend if you want to save some money and not take it into a shop.

No offense I have no idea why anyone would want that ugly looking lip on any car lol. I'd get laughed at if I put it on my car lol.

Listen man everyone has different tastes. With the right execusion, the Hiro lip can look great on our cars. There is a member on here named blockustomz whose Celica is rocking the Hiro lip and I think it looks great on his car.

To answer your question krzkon, I have not seen any Hiro lips on eBay for at least a couple of years. You might be able to find one on Yahoo Auctions Japan.

I just wanted to know what kind of rear lip, rear splitter, and diffuser options we have for our car. I've had a difficult time finding any sort of rear lips or diffusers and if anything Im able to find maybe 1 or two low quality pics on the car and maybe a few lips off the car.

Also wondering if anyone knows of members who made a rear diffusers? If I cant find anything I'll probably try to modify a random lip to fit

Front lips/splitters:
SSIII, TRD, Tom's, Euro

Rear lips/splitters:
SSIII and TRD

Sideskirts:
OEM (SSIII), TRD, 404

I know I didn't mention Hiro and some Euro parts but only a very small number of people run those parts. Most members run the kits that I mentioned above. I have SSIII front and rear splitters with OEM sideskirts. Feel free to check out my profile for more pictures. JFXtreme007 has the same set up as me. Many people on here like to mix and match. For example, Cheela is a member on here who is running Tom's front lip, OEM sideskirts, and TRD rear spats. SSIII front splitters, OEM skirts, and TRD rear spats are a very common combo on here and JoshuaM has pictures of that look on his profile. If you want to see what the complete TRD kit looks like check out richee3. HectortheRican has the euro splitters on his ride.

Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of these kits. They all look great on everyone's rides that I mentioned above.

There are always aftermarket splitters, rubber lips and such that you can get online. There are also aftermarket body kits like VeilSide that you can find online but it's not my taste personally. If I were you, I would browse these member's profiles and get a feel for what you think would look best on your car and pursue that look. Most of these parts can be found on ebay or on the buying/selling section here on the forum.

Hopefully I was of some assistance tongue.gif

Thanks Cheela, Box, and Noahwhite2014! I was fixing my LEDs in my A/C unit last night and I was thinking about what I could do to make my interior better. I will definitely take everyone's ideas into consideration.

I need some ideas for modding my interior. I have converted all of my interior lights to LEDs and I am about to do the heated seats mod. I have seen many interiors on this forum and I want to see what you guys think are the "must have" interior mods for our cars?

Your gauge cluster looks awesome! I need to look into getting a custom gauge cluster myself. As for the engine bay, the mushroom blue filter would give it some color as well as painting the strut brace. I would also consider purchasing SokieTech hood struts. You can find them on eBay and they work great.

Personally, I would keep my options open. I completely agree with you on the AC. That alone would make me want to keep looking. The radio antenna is an easy fix. I went to Pep Boys and found a short, non-powered antenna and swapped it. There is also the Honda S2000 antenna mod. I have no idea how much or how hard the sunroof is to fix. It also depends on your budget and how much time you are willing to look for one. 160k miles is nothing for an old Toyota, but if the previous owner(s) did not do their part in maintaing the car properly, then you might be spending more money on repairs on top of the current fixes you mentioned. If you need a car now, then you can bite the bullet and give this one a try. But if you look long enough on Craigslist or Autotrader, you will find a Celica in much better shape than this one.

1997 ST Limited Edition Celica Liftback 5-speed 1.8L L4 engine. . . ABS, Alloy Wheels, Leather Seats. . . Very Clean. . . approx. 100k miles.

Photos show both the outside and inside were well kept and in very good condition. They are asking $5.5K!

What's the maximum you would offer for this vehicle?

When I bought my 1999 Celica GT last January it had 113k miles and was in very good condition. Mine also had one previous owner who babied the car and a clean title as well. I paid $5,200.

In my opinion, that's not a bad price if it has a clean title and one previous owner. If it were me, I would try to offer either $5,000 and $5,250. If not, then the most I would pay is $5,500.

Keep the carbon fiber hood and paint your car black!

Yeah, plenty of people are crazy about it here tongue.gif

So... today I bought THIS;

JDM EXHAUST, YO!

After owning a modified V8 mustang with exhaust system, hearing my car fire up when I got home was very disappointing tongue.gif It will never pop, growl and burble... but at least I can make mine audible tongue.gif I need to work out how I am shipping it though, anybody have any idea how much it would weigh?

Also, I didn't want to miss out so I bid on two of them and accidentally won both tongue.gif So EOI on the second one once I work out some idea on shipping them.

I also bought THIS;

First let me say how much I LOOOOVVVVEEEE the TRD spoiler.... but I'm just not sure if it will work on my car. Thoughts on install vs sell? (Before you ask, no you can't have it tongue.gif)

Personally, I would install the TRD spoiler in a heartbeat. I'm sure you are familiar with Rusty. His celica has the SSIII kit with a TRD spoiler. It looks awesome! I'm even considering buying a TRD spoiler in the future.

I know yellowchinaman experimented with Dodge Neon projectors, but I haven't seen anyone on here attempt Impreza headlights. It depends upon the dimensions.

I agree with njccmd2002 on spending the extra money and getting the real deal. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the Hiro spoiler. The TRD spoiler is far better. Here is the link to a real TRD spoiler for sale on ebay.

I bought my Kenwood deck and 6.5" speakers and had Best Buy install it with no problems. If it requires adapters, then they took care of it for me.

It seems like njccmd did. I can't find his pictures now though.

Thanks richee3 I appreciate it! I ended up finding a picture...

It looks alright, but I think that if there were other chrome parts, such as chrome pedals and door sills, it would look better!

You will never find a '94 Celica with that low of mileage ever again! I agree with the other members, these cars are meant to be driven and enjoyed.

I know that Lexus door strikers have recently become a popular mod on here with some members. Another idea came to mind when I came across this post on an MR2 forum that talked about replacing the standard black door handles with Lexus chrome door handles. I thought that this was a neat mod and I do not know of any members on here who have tried this out. I just want to see if this possible because I would be willing to look into it!
