So basically, I need a new daily driver, and I wouldn't mind another 6GC. However, I have a high budget, so I'm being very picky.

My must-haves:

--Liftback only
--GT only
--5MT only
--ZERO RUST (if you repaired it with bondo, still not interested)
--no black
--no tan interior

My wants:

--system8
--post-face would be nice, but pre-face is cool too
--bonus points for Ss3 goodies

My budget is $3200 and rising by week. Can travel if needed. I'm going to be possibly swapping the car, so if it doesn't run, it's fine, but I better be able to eat off it. 860.356.5480 is the good time line.

If you want a well sorted ST you can buy mine, gets much better mpg than the GT and only a second slower to 60. tongue.gif Meets 5/6 of your haves, that's passing my friend. tongue.gif

He also is going to swap it so it really doesnt matter much with st or gt. Unless he want to use the gt tranny.
That and gt has rear discs.

We've talk about this
If it gets swapped it'll be a beams an swapping a beams into a gt is 100% cheaper than a st unless you buy a full clip

--------------------
95 gt coupe, v6 swap weekend toy
99 gt hatch beams swapped wife's
94 st hatch my daily driver

Kurt nailed it.

My ideal 6GC is a GT with a bad engine that needs paint with no rust. I can paint and wrench, but I can't do bodywork or rust repair. If it drives, wherever is fine if I don't get amilleri's car, but not running I have a 250 mile limit from 06811. I have my AAA premium tow left, and I can use it if the car is registered at the time.

And yes, it will get a BEAMS. I want to have both a BEAMS and V6 so that way I can put the debate to rest once and for all.
