Im sure its been on here before but i couldnt find anything while pagin through...Any who...i know someone would who would do a simple H and R spring drop for me for 60 bucks...i of course would be purchasing the springs, but i mean this isnt going to be the best services provided for my car. Does anyone know how much it would be if i took it to a dealship or mechanic...Im sure someone has done it or how difficult is it to acually do it yourself...but that would be my third option....Thanks a bunch...
P.S. He said if i got the H and R's he could lower it 2 whole inches and if the got the sportlines it would be a 3 inch drop. im guessing he might be talking about cuttin them, not a good idea.. other then that there is no way to lower any more then they say... I did it my self not hard at all, does take an after noon, an you need a spring compressor you can rent for 45 bucks at autozone.. you get the money back when your done with it.. but i guess 60 bucks isnt bad, just dont let him cut them...

well see the problem with that is you wont have the ride quality that you do not(alot bumper and wont turn as well) but if you get coil overs i heard they do the same job but better and cost like 1G.

Coilovers? 1g? Uhh...no. Dropzone Coilovers don't cost that much...the only springs/coilovers for our cars that are close to that price are the the Tein.

Aside from the price issue which snadman already addressed...Springs actually give the best ride compared with coilovers. The benefit of coilovers are that you can adjust the ride height.

make sure that for $60 he doesn't cut you springs and sell the ones you bought...
sportslines are colored... stock ones are black. Also, there's a whole How-To on installing coil-overs...which is harder than springs...so, if you are up for it, do it yourself... -------------------- ![]() |

It really isnt that hard...And it will do nothing but help you learn about your car. Definately worth it to do it on your own. That way it wont cost you anything!
