 Caldina Alloy Problem |

Okay, well I am in the process of installing 17" Caldina Alloys onto my car...
My problem is in this part of the car/wheel:   Basically, the wheel was quite difficult to get to sit properly when installing them, and then when I was removing the wheel It wouldn't come off at all.. As if it was wedged onto the car... I had to put my whole body weight onto the wheel to get it off the car, both sides where the same... The only thing I can think of causing this is the round part shown above which slips onto the car... Anyone got any ideas what I could do to stop this, because it doesn't feel correct at all... Or anyone currently running on Caldina alloys have the same problem?
