Hi guys!

Since the last update there have been a few minor things that have changed smile.gif

Firstly i plastidipped my stockies with a red lip.
I dont have any photos during the painting, but will get them off my phone later smile.gif
I think they look awesome IMO.

Heres some pics from my recent Car meet.

What do you think???

Besides that i have bought camber kits for the rears and spacers that are on the way smile.gif

Still waiting for dcw triple gauge pod. But should be here soon smile.gif

Thanks for reading!

Just some suggestions:
JDM tails and clear third brake light coupled with SSIII body kit tongue.gif

Great to see some active Aussies on this site tongue.gif

Do they make a clear third brake light or we have to do some diy? I will see how the car looks once the car has the spacers then may decide on ss3 kit biggrin.gif

The Clear third brake is made by Wolfie on this forum smile.gif
The seem expensive for what they are, BUT he does an AMAZING job and it is well worth the money. It looks just like it was made by Toyota with part numbers and everything.
Thread.
This mod, takes literally 30mins to finish.
All you do is take the boot/hatch trim off, undo the bolts holding the brake light assembly in. Remove the assembly, pry off the red lens and put on the Clear. then reassemble.
Once done, replace the Clear/Yellow bulb with a T10 Multi-RED LED and the difference is amazing.

HEY GUYS PRETTY BIG UPDATE IMO!!
Recently received my spacers! Took only 4 days from USA, not bad wink.gif

SPECS OF SPACERS:
Ichiba Hubcentric spacers
30mm on front
38mm on rear
54.1 hub centric ring
M12 x 1.5p

HUGE ahah

The excitement!!

Next to a wallet smile.gif

During

After (the jack is let down)

Went for a test drive... ended up doing this

LOL laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif
DIY Guard rolling!
After that the rears haven't rubbed since, even after taking corners ridiculously fast and yeah. Only problem is that the front wheels rub when going over a speed bump at a stupid speed. (eg. 40km/h)

Next addition...

i wonder what it is?!?!?!

TADA!

Installed

Thankyou to DCW for the awesome custom work! Fits perfect! And looks so much cleaner!

IF YOU WERE WONDERING HOW THE WHEELS SIT NOW!

about 3mm poke tongue.gif

Thanks again for reading!

Also please tell me what i should do to my car next?!

Your interior looks amazing with those on dash gauges! I'm curious to know where and how much you paid for them.

Those spacers also look pretty bad ass smile.gif

I've been trying a few cars.... Don't do it, it's bad tongue.gif Celica always comes back out on top!

I'm with 1MZ/BEAMS/3S-GTE.... Whatever suits your driving style and future ambitions best.

Does WA have mod plate restrictions for P platers?

I really want 3sgte swap. Just i wont be able to do it. Need a workshop to handle mad turbo swap. But the wait for it is mid feb next year until they start the car frown.gif

Over here p platers are allowed anything ahaha! Just need to have modification permits and follow the modding laws.

What about just replacing the head gasket...? That's the most feasible option cost wise. Do it yourself and it won't cost over $100.

What he said. Only it's for sure more than 100 bucks once you add up the fluids, gasket set, timing belt, tensioner, etc...but still. Just fix it. It only takes a couple days (if you're doing it right ie... sending the head to a machine shop to get resurfaced).
