Just found this on Ebay and thought it was pretty cool. What exactly is that button for?

My best educated guess would be it's a fuel cut switch although those are usually places in a more inconspicuous place. My dad's 1990 BMW has one in the back part of the arm rest.
That said it's a free switch that can be wired for anything you want. |

Interesting, I kinda want to pick this up and wire some LED's or something into there -------------------- 2007 Impreza 2.5i - Daily

That's not from a Celica. It was posted on here before and another member found the exact same item from the exact same seller but it's listed as being from an Evo or some other car. Definitely not from a Celica.

Not to mention IF it was for a Celica it would be a RHD one. Look at the e-brake.

I quite confident that it's the switch for the ST205 WRC edition of the cars. It's a switch for the water-injector for the intake manifold or the intercooler, not sure exactly which since I don't have a WRC.

A quick Google search confirms that Gerald is right- it's the console from an Evo IV.
