Hard unless your get the complete set with the proper switch.
The power mirror switch in the standard celica won't work the folding mirrors without major modding and then I am pretty sure some of the switches are different models but look the same too or somethibf

The standard power mirror switch panel will not give you the button to actually fold the mirrors tho. You can usually find the switch on ebay for $5-10 if you are patient. I did and it only took me a week or so

Today I got rear-ended by a guy in an IS250 who then got rear-ended by another woman who then got rear-ended by another guy...I'm really impressed though. I got hit pretty hard and this is all the damage.

Today I stopped by the Toyota dealer and picked up the new drain plug and fill plug +seals for the transmission. And I had them make me a couple of brand new keys while I was there, they looked waaaaay different then the old worn down one I had(no wonder my ignition acted like it didn't want to turn once in a while)
then I went to Sears and dug through all of the box end wrenches that where out of place instead of hanging on the marked hooks in the store. They didn't have a 24mm out but they had a 6point 15/16 and it was a perfect fit for the new plugs I had in my pocket.
The old ones are so beat up that I couldn't even get them off with a twelve point wrench, 24mm or 15/16. I looked all around to find some 6 point wrenches and most places only have 12point junk for sale, had to go to a Sears, and even most of the stuff they had was 12point.
I also picked up a 6point 17mm for the banjo nut on the top of the fuel filter. anybody know what size the flare nut on the bottom of the fuel filter is?

Today I picked up another ST184 Celica,
Bought off ebay for $100, and sold within an hour for $300. I also got a free set of extractors off it. Winning.



It has a cannon that actually sounds really good... (Never thought I'd say that about a cannon muffler).

After I had replaced my rotors, I decided to test my brakes and explore the neighbourhood on the island that I was visiting(driving with the windows down in a wooded area is fun). I drove to an area where they are still developing houses, with wood-chip covered roads, and I felt the ABS kick in for the first time. I wasn't sure whether the previous owner had disabled it.

Also, while I was replacing my rotors, I discovered said previous owner had changed 3 out to 4 brake lines to braided stainless steel. Baffling. They probably ran out of money to support their car, just like how it might happen to me

Today, I have decided that the power antenna is the only thing that drives me insane about my car. I will change that soon.

Wanted to test my new tires, so I took the car for a ride in the snow. I was really suprised with the grip and the ability to stop and clear the snow. The only down side was the car is low and the wheel wells filled up quick.

I decided to check back in again... I've been in California for about a month now and I was in Canada for 2 weeks before that. I've been car shopping for the last week and I'm going to test drive the one I intend to make an offer on this Saturday (2001 Ford Mustang GT Convertible - Manual). I have driven a couple and they are a laugh coming from a small, light and not so powerful car.... would certainly get sick of the lack of handling though

Whilst I've been over here I haven't been forgetting my car... I paid for my car to be picked up, washed and returned to its storage about 2 weeks after I got here just to make sure nothing decided to attach itself more permanently.



Recently one of my best friends (the one that always helps out with my car) has started his own channel on youtube doing car reviews and related bits and pieces, so I let him drive my car for a week for a review. Of course, not for free... he had to detail it inside and out first, put all the trim pieces and braces that I had out for various reasons back in and fix up my front splitters which were not very well attached anymore (see above pic) He also just changed my manual transmission oil for me.... unfortunately though we could only get 2.5L bottles of oil that were $50 each and the car needed 2.6L -.-

Here is his review; these are all his thoughts - I wasn't allowed any input at all into any of it Check it out (The handbrake does get used...), and he would appreciate subscriptions if you would like to see more videos in the future.

Had someone else offer me a black Integra liftback plus some cash. Also tempting, since it needs some bodywork I could fix by myself and then I could turn around and sell it once I finished it and make even more money.

Went to the movies with the better half and wound up parking next to a post-lift 6gc. It was painted a lovely purple color - definitely not stock as far as I know.

Today I replaced air compressor piston assembly, seafoamed the celica. Discovered bad intake manifold gasket in the process. Hooray for me!
