Today I ordered my 3mz engine from an 05 Sienna,. with 126k confirmed that he is going to take a blown-up 5f-se as the core so after delivery and core it's $325+ tax. It's getting dropped off tomorrow! As cheap as these motors are I'm considering picking up every blown motor Toyota I see and stuffing a 3mz in it.
Also ordered an ST throttle cable from an ebayer and am browsing today to find the few parts and pieces I still need, to do my swap. Looks like I'm starting the swap this weekend! Suppose I should also order a new digital camera while I'm at it to shoot the photos along the way. Better option than continuing to use my crappy phone. I almost forgot the most important part I've ordered for my whole project was last night!  New Badge |

That's alright, I suppose I'll just have to pay through the nose for mixed paint or think of something else clever. So, the muffler I wanted is $42 shipped instead of some $64. Installation won't cost but around $50 or so, and I'll be removing the secondary cat which its scrap price will cover it all. Decisions. It's more or less the same muffler I picked out for my brother's Genesis 2.0T and it admittedly sounds good for a four cylinder.
