I had a pretty nice 95 Celica convertible with 230k miles. I just smashed into a deer with it. I found a 97 Celica ST with 150k miles for $500 with a blown engine. I am going to buy it and swap some stuff around to get a working car. My questions is, would you guys use the convertible or the ST?
The convertible needs -Front bumper -Fenders -Hood -Airbags -Windshield The ST needs the whole drivetrain replaced, since it has a 7afe and will be getting a 5sfe. Both are manual. So in case I didn't make the question clear, take the parts from the st and put it in the convertible, or take the drivetrain from the convertible and put it in the st?
