From what I've seen there is a FWD st215 turbo charged caldina engine 98-03. This engine and tranny will fit in my 95 celica GT?

Yes the engine will, this has been covered before. I don't think the trans would work since it's from an AWD car. You'll probably have to use an e153 if I remember correctly. I'm sure if you search you can find more info on it.

I found a few it Montreal and they are saying they come with a FWD tranny. And no it's not the beams I saw. Here is the add no on kijiji 1002875289

They don't even know what they're selling. You can clearly see the output from the transfer case on the middle right of the picture. This looks like an AWD trans to me.

the dipstick. you dont measure the oil on an manual tranny like that...

also you can see the gear selector next to it.

no shift cables....

that doesnt mean you cant use the engine. find a manual ECU, make the wiring changes, the stock GT trans will bolt right up, get a flywheel and clutch and you are good to go

Not even need for a manual ECU. I used an auto ECU on my swap and I was using a S53 tranny and all went well. No CEL or anything like that.
