I hear that GSC (iirc) 3rg gen cams will work AND the 4th gen cam sensor will bolt onto it without any issue. Is this true? Any experience with that?

I believe this is true. check on MR2 forums. they do a lot more 4th gen swaps. I dont know of anyone on here that has a 4th gen.

Yes, you can use GEN3 GSC cams if you bolt on the GEN4 cam sensor trigger wheel. The question is why? GEN4 cams are great and not a power restriction until well north of 400 whp, at which point you are doing a full build and have entered a whole different ball game.
